Really enjoyed our night in the blue bell , lovely room and a very comfortable bed. Very nice meal in the evening and a lovely breakfast in the morning what’s not to like so when we find ourselves hiking in the area again we will definitely be looking to stay a night or two in the Blue bell

Lovely welcome upon arrival and shown to a beautiful room with more than everything that we required. Very clean and comfortable - had the best nights sleep. Lovely bar with log fire and a gorgeous evening meal. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend. We will be staying again.

The dinner and breakfast were both, substantial and good quality. The staff were friendly and chatty. The quality of the room was excellent, although the bright fire exit sign didn't aid dropping off to sleep and the bathroom heated towel rail wasn't on, so the bathroom was cold. I didn't see the area around the property so i couldn't comment.

Excellent!

Our first time at the Blue Bell, but won’t be our last! Really comfortable beds and pillows in a nice room with a lovely new bathroom. Food was excellent and all the staff, from Keith , the landlord, down, are friendly, kind and helpful, and all were happy in their jobs. We will be back!

The single room was very small, but cleverly laid out. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and efficient.

Spacious accommodation for the family

We stopped in for a night in our way back home from Scotland. The cottage provides plenty of room for a family and has a living area and full kitchen with washing machine. Parking is easy and plentiful. We had dinner in the pub as well, which was good pub food and there is a good kids menu.

Very charming place. We rented the cottage, and it was great for two of us with the kids. Great people working here. The dinner at the inn was great again. We highly recommend.

Comfortable stay

Staff were all very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. We had a good nights sleep here and look forward to returning!

Batteries Re-charged.

I stayed here for three nights B&B. My room was clean and appeared to have been renovated and decorated in recent times. The room had a double and single bed making it a little cramped. The bathroom was modern with an easy to operate shower. Being at the front of the pub, there was some noise from the A697. Breakfast was included in the price, and was excellent along with the service. I had one evening meal here which took was excellent.
