The staff and the quality of the room and amenities are top class here. The staff continues to go above and beyond for anything you can ask. My wife and I have stayed here twice; dined at Dive; enjoyed the daily fresh brewed coffee right in your hallway; and reveled in the perfect location for all things Coronado. We will continue to make this our first choice every time we come to Coronado!
The balcony rooms are always worth it. Better view of the Coronado pines than you’ll get from any other spot on the island.

Hotel was EXCEPTIONALLY clean!!! Everything was pristine and beautiful! They even had a dyon hair dryer! Incredible. The art and all the things they put in the hotel goes together SO WELL. I will definitely be back and recommending to everyone! Staff was extremely nice and helpful and they even had a guest book to sign which made it so much more personable. Amazing! 10/10

Overall it was a nice stay but not worth the high price tag. Room was clean but very small. Staff is friendly but hotel seems understaffed—lobby is empty a lot of the time and they barely answer the phone if you need something. Great view from the rooftop bar/restaurant and good food. Noisy if you end up getting a room on the first floor.

Absolutely fantastic stay and I will definitely be back! Mikaela was an absolute doll taking of the tiniest of details to ensure that my staycation celebrating my husband's birthday was perfection. The attention to detail she gave and the passion she has for her job came pouring through everything she did. Sonny was so friendly and helpful, even arranging to have my husband's cocktail order delivered to our room. Every single person we came in contact with was warm, friendly, and inviting. I didn't feel like I was staying at a hotel, but rather staying with friends and family. While we didn't use the fireplace in the downstairs living room (we definitely will next time!), we loved the proximity of the hotel to the Del where we explored and saw all the holiday decorations and festivities. If you want to be treated well (and like a real person), The Bower is the place to go. Ask for Mikaela- she'll make your stay an experience you'll never forget.
