4 friends down for a week of golfing at Corowa & Howlong.We found ‘The Captains Manor’ to be exactly what we were looking for with 4 bedrooms (each with large beds), 2 bathrooms, large living/dining area & a fully equipped kitchen.Walking distance to shopping, eateries, pubs & Club Corowa.We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Stayed here for an extended 5 night, Anzac weekend, there was 8 of us in total and the property was perfect for us. While it could benefit from a few minor updates, the size of the property, location and amenities were fantastic and our crew thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A little tired, big stains on old carpet, mould on bathroom ceiling. Driveway very tight for modern SUV and unsafe stairs with no handrails ( not easy to access for older people)

Lovely property

This fantastic property was exactly as expected from the description - it was clean, had everything we needed and a relaxed comfortable vibe. The gorgeous original 1950’s features were fabulous! The property was close to the river for swimming and the Main Street for dining. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Christmas Memories

Had a wonderful stay at the Captain's Manor. Bought back so many memories staying in a50's style house. We all just loved it.. Everything was prepared according to the description on the website. The style of the house and the garden settings just took us all back to the 50's.. Amazing stay. Facilities were all available for us ready for cooking and BBQing. outdoor setting was great under what appeared to be a nice big walnut tree. Overall could not have asked for better. Bedrooms all set out and prepared nicely. Showers were to die for!! Water temp so easy to control. Thankyou for the great memories.

Disappointing

Comfortable beds and lounge suite, but dishwasher not working, no detergent supplied so perhaps not for a while. Dead blowflies and cobwebs on windows are not attractive. Extremely dangerously slippery shower bases resulted in a fall and fractured wrist on first day and zero sympathy from the owner. Very old property in need of tlc.

The original features of this property were very charming. Beds were very comfortable and rooms very cosy. Fire wood could have been offered at an additional cost or could have been advised to bring/buy own before arrival.
