Cleaniness was a big issue. Also they could at least have one extra thrash bag. No salt or pepper or even coffee filters. They should at least have small itms like that. Bathroom was supper tiny.
Overall a good place to stay, had a few minor issues with the code not working but the manager came and reset it within 15 minutes
AC could be better as it never got to 74!!!
The first door code did not work. I had to wait about 20 minutes total for someone to answer the phone and then text the new code to me.The condo was clean, but had a bad odor when I arrived. It seemed to be coming from the floor, maybe from a cleaning product. I aired the condo out which helped, but made the condo warm. It continued to have a slight odor for the 3 days I was there. I am unsure as to whether I would want to try a different condo or not, because I am unsure as to what the cause of the odor was.
Condo was clean & comfortable and location was right on the beach with a great boardwalk to the beach. It is a smaller complex and easy access to condo. Not as big and crowded as some of the high rise condos. Very comfy feel. Check in process was very easy. We would rent here again.
Despite the weather, we enjoyed our first stay in Port A. Our unit was clean and had everything we needed, and was right up front looking towards the beach. We would definitely come back and would recommend this unit to friends and family!
The service management is awesome, very clean place and just close to stores and beach. We are happy for chose this place to stay, ready to back in our next vacations
Check in was easy. Property was clean but strong disinfectant used was not to our liking. Master toilet never flushed properly and recliner in living room should be put by the curb. Itâs fifthy and smells. The rest was ok.
Property was very comfortable, quiet, spacious and perfect for our family weekend getaway. Wifi was functional unlike some properties we have stayed at and our room even had a smart tv. Our only complaint was the master bed was noticeably warmer then the rest of the rooms and it was quite bright early in the morning making it harder to sleep in other then that it was really accommodating. I would stay here again.
Nice rooms and furnishings. Would have really enjoyed the balconies that were closed and locked! Kitchen nicely appointed and supplied. Good lighting and AC worked well. Had lots of trouble getting TV reception - no instructions available to help. Really liked the covered parking, especially since there was so much rain during the first half of out stay. Appreciated the boardwalk to the beach once the rain stopped (LOL). Overall a very pleasant stay in Port Aransas.
I had reservations about booking this place because of the complaints about the slightly dated interior. After staying here, I thought that the interior was just fine. It was clean and that's the most important thing to me. It was cozy and honestly, how much time are you actually spending in there anyway? The location was awesome, being the closest condo to the beach. The number of beds offers a lot of flexibility, which is great because we were able to bring our mother-in-law along in addition to our own children. The pool area was awesome, we went when the temperature is in the low 60s and my family spent a lot of time in the heated pool. The close proximity to downtown Port A was a huge plus as well. Lots of food, shopping etc within a very short golf cart ride.
My only complaint was the master bathroom toilet didn't flush well. Sometimes took two or three flushes. Oh, and also the The second bathroom only had one out of four lights operational. Hopefully this is resolved for future guests. I would still stay here again, and actually as I speak I'm looking at availability for future dates.
There were a few minor issues with the condo (drip in the shower from A/C and it smelled like mothballs), but the location was amazing. Loved the boardwalk that took you right down to the beach. The view was incredible. We had a great time!
Arrived to a broken dishwasher and a flooded kitchen (cleaners were part way through prep and had trouble reaching anyone about the leak) so we were unable to wash prior renter's dishes or use the kitchen sink until late Monday (we were told it would be fixed "first thing in the morning"). GROSS
Numerous people were in and out of the unit (I recall at least 6 - note, this is the height of a pandemic and not all wore masks) on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday before the issue was resolved. Plumbers cut holes in the drywall to replace a pipe and did not clean, repair OR turn the cold water back on. Property maintenance came back Wednesday to close it up.
Wednesday night the water was turned off for over an hour (told it would be 30 minutes).
Kitchen floor was sticky since it was never mopped after the leak (as promised by cleaners on Sunday), wood floors were thin and uneven. Chair and sofa were dirty and dingy.
Port A Escapes (management company) were unresponsive to several messages. After hours actually provided 2 (TWO) courtesy calls for the TWO major issues we had.
Internet didn't work for the first day and despite a call to the owner, the cable NEVER worked.
Other than the decent proximity to the beach, would not recommend staying here (especially in THIS unit).
The location was great - easy access (boardwalk) to the beach, & offered a limited view of beach. The condo lwas pleasantly furnished- slightly dated. Clean & comfortable beds. Deck is narrow & long, facing East. The clubhouse & pool were very well maintained. My only real complaint is the lack of pots & pans - totally inadequate (saucepan with no handle, frying pan with scratched Teflon.
