It is Fine LCV26 is a 3br/3ba beach house with a spacious second floor deck to enjoy breezes off the Gulf of Mexico! Observation deck offers views of the water. Fully furnished to enjoy a weekend on the beach. The ground floor is a great family space! There is one queen bedroom, and two sets of twin over twin bunk beds in the living room. It also offers a mini fridge for late night snacks and drinks. In the full bathroom is where you will find the washer and dryer. Upstairs you will find the kitchen, and main living room. There is also the king primary with a full ensuite bath. You will also find a queen bedroom and a 2nd full bath on this level. The ground floor is not internally connected to the rest of the home. There is no garage access.

Creosote

Unfortunately, when we arrived a very strong, overwhelming oder was present in the downstairs/bunk area. When we were unable to air out the space, we inquired about it. We were told it was coming from the creosote on the home's pilings, that we weren't the first to ask about the smell and that some other rentals had the same issue. So we purchased several fans, kept the windows open, and did our best to tough it out. We were booked for 17 nights but only stayed a couple as it wasn't acceptable for our three young children to sleep there. We switched to a hous that didn't have it's pilings enclosed and had zero issue with a creosote smell. Ultimately, we wish we had known about the possible creosote smell prior to booking, as it would have saved us a lot of trouble and extra work of changing locations while on our family's vacation. What was excellent was the Port A Escapes customer service, they were very prompt and helpful.

Spring Break

We enjoyed staying at this property. It is a great location, lots of outdoor lounging options and a short walk to the beach. The teens enjoyed having their own space downstairs, but it was very hot on that level, even though the outdoor temperature was cool.

Overall great stay

Be aware that the online description says the third bedroom has bunk beds. In fact the third bedroom has a queen bed which was great for us and may be desirable for others to know about. The bunk beds are great too especially for people with kids, but they should be categorized in the “other” category since they are in an open space not in an enclosed bedroom.

40th Wedding Anniversary

We all had a great time at this house. Plenty of space for everyone. The game station downstairs was a huge hit with the kids and the dads😂. The balcony was very breezy and cool.

Comfortable House

The home was comfortable & clean, with beach access one block away. There were problems with appliances not working (ice maker, dishwasher & dryer); everything was resolved except the dishwasher. The beach was dirty, though, with trash (syringes with needles attached!). . . not the nicest environment for our grandchildren to play in! There is an outdoor shower, lots of outdoor furniture & a view of the gulf from a high deck. A/C worked great, ceiling fans in every room, TV with streaming svc., good water pressure.

Was very pleased with the location, overall appearance, and that the house matched its description perfectly. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, play games, and enjoy a short walk to the beach. I will be keeping this one in mind for our next beach gathering.

Time to Relax

We booked the house because we've stayed in the neighborhood before and enjoyed it. This house gave us the time and space to relax as a family after a long school year including an additional day added to our stay. Found a bug downstairs but otherwise all was fine at It’s Fine!

Labor Day Weekend trip

Property was great! You can tell the house is older, but very clean and well stocked. Proximity to the beach is great, short 5min walk to the boardwalk. Outside space for kids to play was great too. Definitely will consider it for another trip.

Great Family Vacation Spot

The house was great for our family beach trip. It was as advertised and we would stay here again. The only complaint is that the bottom floor (bunk room) had an over powering chemical odor. We were not sure if it had been recently painted or if it was tile/flooring glue or what. The kids had to sleep with the windows open the first two nights to let it air out some. The odor weakened by the end of our stay but was still very noticeable. I’m sure after a few weeks it will dissipate completely. Other than that the place was great.

Great find, close to beach, large deck and sunrise views

This was a wonderful trip. We were there with our 2 kids and the grand-parents. It's a short walk to the beach. The large deck is great, perfect to enjoy the sea breeze, watch the sunrise in the morning. The separate suite downstairs made it quite practical for the grand-parents. Very nice and clean house overall.

Nice neighborhood

Overall, our stay was good. Had enough beds for the family. Property is also dog friendly. Very close to the beach with beach access. Quiet neighborhood with open field backyard. Few simple recommendations for improvement- add more basic items such as coffee filters, additional soap and shampoo downstairs since it has 5 total beds (8 person occupancy), hair dryer, hand soap in the kitchen, place the laundry soap in the laundry room instead of the kitchen. These are simple items that does not give a perception that the owner is stingy with the basic amenities. Also, there is no access downstairs from the upstairs (and vice versa) from the inside of the house. You have to use the outside stairs to access either floors of the house. An inconvenience for parents to check on the kids or a family member at night. The quietness of the neighborhood and access to the beach is a major plus for this property.
