This private guesthouse sits in the back of a two acre beautiful oak tree covered lot, less than 2 miles from water. Included is a private patio with a gas grill for outdoor entertainment. 10% Weekly, 25% Monthly discount.

The location is 7 miles to Port Aransas beach ferry and 10 minutes to Rockport shopping and dining. This is a fishing, duck hunting and bird watching paradise!
The boat ramp is five minutes from house. We have street and alley entrances with plenty of free, private parking for a vehicle, trailer and boat.

Nice hideaway

Ms. Debby was awesome. Everything was clean and fresh. There were even snacks and cold drinks available. The drive to and from Port A was supper easy and quick. I definitely would come back to this location. Maybe before school starts this time with the kids.

Wonderful Stay

This place was perfect for what we were needing for a quick beach getaway. The driveway has plenty of parking which was a plus. The cabin sit a ways back from the road so you feel like you are not in the middle of town. Communication with the owner was great!! She was so sweet and let us check in earlier than check in time. Also the price was great as well. Will definitely try and stay here again.

Private get away

We booked about 10 days in advance and had great communication throughout the process and the stay. The property is in a great location and ready to pull a boat through. The first house is clean, decently cirrhosis and has a great out door attached with a grill.. The(5) of us were comfortable, but might suggest bringing a mattress pad for the tuition.

Overall ok

The description of the property is misleading. I was shocked when I saw the actual place we were staying. The place had everything you would need except I would add a large skillet. There are three very small ones and had to use all three to cook breakfast tacos. There is a back gate you can go through but owner suggested we don’t use it and so we had to back down a long driveway every time we left. Can’t have other people over to have dinner with because owner said because of insurance purpose. The TV is very small. Beds are very hard. The owners are very accommodating and nice. Would I stay here again probably not but that’s just me.

Perfect for our family!

This was a great central location for the activities we wanted to do in Pt. Aransas and Corpus Christi. The guest house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to cook meals. The owners gave us our privacy, but were very kind and available for anything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again!

A lovely month of recreation and warmth for two Minnsotans

My husband and I were newcomers to the Coastal Bend area of Texas. We're thrilled we chose to winter at this Private Coastal Retreat. The cottage is located behind the owner's home, far enough for plenty of privacy. You park just feet away from the front door, making unloading and loading a snap! The grove of live oaks help break the wind and provide shade. Everything was exactly as photographed on VRBO. The host doesn't intrude, but is a phone call away if you need anything. They were especially helpful when our van wouldn't start a couple days before our departure. They recommended the mechanic they use for his honesty, fairness, and excellent work. We took our van in the next day and he replaced the battery. Problem solved! While without our van, the host drove me to the drugstore to pick up a prescription. We were so thankful for their efforts and help. Thanks so much! We know you'll enjoy your stay as much as we did ours.

Good weekend stay

Great place for the weekend. Friendly hostess that was in communication regularly prior to arrival. I even added a guest just a day before we arrived and there were no issues. (We were still within the 4 person limit) Property was clean and functional.
