Alaterno is a comfortable holiday home located on the upper floor of a modern villa, Villetta Sulvia, which consists of two independent units. Located in the quiet area of Funnuvojere and surrounded by the greenery of the Mediterranean scrub, it is just a short distance from the beautiful sea of the Salento Adriatic coast.

Here, the rustic charm of the countryside blends harmoniously with elegant design touches, creating the ideal atmosphere for those seeking a relaxing getaway in contact with nature.

With equipped outdoor spaces and sea views, Alaterno is perfect for comfortably hosting 2 people. Considering the sofa bed in the living room, 2 teenagers or an additional adult can be accommodated. Moreover, it is possible to book it along with the accommodation on the lower floor, Antillide, making it the perfect choice for couples of friends or families who wish to spend time together while maintaining privacy and independence.

For safety reasons, we are currently unable to accommodate children under the age of 10 and pets.

THE LOCATION

As mentioned, Villetta Sulvia is surrounded by greenery and nature, just a few steps away from the beautiful Adriatic coastline, characterized by cliffs overlooking the sea, breathtaking landscapes, and crystal-clear waters.

The villa is located near the picturesque Otranto-Leuca coastal road, one of the most beautiful coastal routes in Salento, with its enchanting natural landscapes. This area is also part of the Otranto-Leuca Natural Park, a protected area aimed at preserving local biodiversity and natural heritage.

The closest beach is about 400 meters away, a corner of unspoiled nature with crystal-clear waters and lush, wild vegetation. It is possible to reach the beach on foot, but the walk back may be tiring due to the uphill road.

Nearby, and just a few minutes by car, you can find other coves (for those who prefer more accessible beaches). Marina Serra, with its stunning natural pool, or Marina di Novaglie, a charming location with a bay and beautiful sea caves, are excellent alternatives. Additionally, a 10-minute drive will take you to Località Ciolo, famous for its distinctive bridge overlooking the crystal-clear sea and Santa Maria di Leuca.

Finally, about 3 km from the villa, you'll find the town center of Corsano, where you can find all the main services, including supermarkets, pharmacies, newsstands, tobacco shops, gas stations, gyms, and stores.

The Alaterno accommodation, located on the upper floor and measuring about 55 sqm, can host up to three people (considering a comfortable sofa bed in the living room). The interiors, with a rustic yet refined character, are furnished with classic wooden furniture and enhanced with design details that make the space warm and welcoming.

The living room is equipped with an elegant dining table, a masonry (gas) kitchenette with an electric oven, and everything needed to prepare delicious meals. Additionally, there is a cozy corner with a sofa and a TV, perfect for moments of pure relaxation.

The bedroom, well-furnished and thoughtfully designed, features a double bed and an elegant wardrobe.

The fully tiled bathroom is complete with a bidet and a shower with a curtain.

Outside, a beautiful terrace with a sea view provides a shaded area, perfect for dining and relaxing moments, with a table, chairs, deck chairs, and armchairs. There is also a masonry wood barbecue for organizing barbecue gatherings with friends.

Additionally, there is a convenient storage room with a washing machine, an outdoor shower (with hot water), and free street parking nearby.

-"Le Vie del Sale," ancient communication routes that once connected the coast with inland towns.
- The scenic "Sentiero delle Cipolliane," which overlooks the sea and connects Marina di Novaglie with the Ciolo area.
In addition to hiking, there are many activities to enjoy in the area.

In Funnuvojere and Marina di Novaglie, for example, you can practice snorkeling and sport fishing. Nearby, you can also go scuba diving to explore the stunning seabed and crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic coast. Moreover, boat tours are available to visit the beautiful sea caves in the area, an experience not to be missed.

Santa Maria di Leuca, just 13 km from the villa, is one of the most charming locations in Salento. Here you can visit the historic Basilica Sanctuary of Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae, with its imposing lighthouse and the monumental staircase connecting it to the marine area. You can also stroll along the seafront, with its charming 19th-century villas and traditional restaurants offering local Salento cuisine.

Finally, about 18 km from the villa, you can reach the Ionian side with its fine sandy beaches and Caribbean-like landscapes.
