Dirty and dank

Dirty and disgusting from the parkijg lot to the room. We set out bags in room went out to eat. Decided we would not stay there because it was gross and felt unsafe.

Felt unsafe with back door open

When I was at the property we immediately noticed the back door did not latch or require a key card to get in. It appeared broken potentially. Brought it to 2 staff’s attention and both acted surprised. The hallways smelled, no towels for the pool, the pool was cloudy and looked odd, our tub looked u clean, and the floor of our room looked unclean as well.

This is just an average hotel. It’s a little bit dated and could use a little upkeep. It seems freshly painted, but they didn’t do a great job where in places the wall paint was on the ceiling too. The bathroom door didn’t latch. Had a new shower/bathtub, the hot water was cold and the cold water was hot. Beds were comfortable enough, but the tv didn’t work. The area around the hotel has a few places to eat, but isn’t really a vibrant area to stay. Breakfast buffet had some good biscuits and gravy. It was ok for a place to stay and did the job for what we needed it for.

Needs updated

Toilet wouldn’t stop running so have to giggle handle, smoke detector was gone, deadbolt was no where close to latching, beds and blankets and pillows were all so uncomfortable. The pop from the vending machine expired in August so it was super flat. Stinks everything is going down hill because it’s one of my husband and I favorite get away places. But probably our last time there. Will have to find a new spot
