PRIME LOCATION, MINUTES TO THE BEACH!
Spacious and comfortable, Cowes on the Bay can easily accommodate 2 families. With two living areas extending onto North facing, protected sunny balconies. The yard is child-friendly, fully fenced and can securely accommodate a boat as well as several vehicles. Pets are also welcome (with conditions) by prior arrangement only.
HOUSE FEATURES:
Entering at ground level, the beautifully polished floorboard stairs take you up to an open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area - catch your breath, the living area enjoys the stunning views out across the bay, and the stacker doors completely open out to the large timber deck with outdoor wicker setting and a Webber Q.
Relax with a glass of bubbles and enjoy the serenity and the water views
For those of you who are motorbike enthusiasts, there is an events bus stop across the road on the corner. Perfect for easy access to the circuit
Enjoy a stroll along the beach all the way into Cowes, approximately 2km. Close to Coles and Woolworths and all the offerings of Cowes main shopping strip.

Wonderful view, comfortable house with plenty of room

Our family of four plus our dog stayed here for a week and loved it. It's far enough away from the centre of Cowes to offer a sense of peace and quiet, and we loved sitting out on the back balcony to take in the view at different times of the day. It's well set up, the only down-side was that the mattress in one of the upstairs bedrooms wasn't very comfortable but there were so many other beds available that this didn't matter.

Xmas getaway

We had a wonderful break at Cowes on the Bay. The very well-equipped kitchen made cooking easy, the view from the balcony is beautiful, and the location is close to everything but far enough away from the bustle of central Cowes to be peaceful. Thank you, we loved it.

Needed a good clean

We left the house cleaner than we found it. It was clear no one had checked the property before we arrived. The bins collected Thursday were still outside the property when we arrived Friday PM. 2 beds fell apart which we put back together. The windows needed a good clean (particularly the lovely back windows) and the carpet was stained. One of the vacuum attachments was sitting on the wood fire which had not been dusted.

Nice house ,great view some maintenance needed

The heading says it ! The highlight is the great view from upstairs deck . Some things need fixing or upgrading for the price charged . The electric kettle doesn’t switch off automatically. The crisper door on the fridge is broken.the downstairs living room TV doesn’t work as a tv 
 can’t understand the audio and badly pixcillated 
. For 8 people you need two TVs that work . The two single beds in one of the bedrooms are cheap and uncomfortable, an upgrade wouldn’t cost much . The front gate needs to be fixed. None of these re show stoppers but at your price point they should be fixed . We left the fire set for the next guests 
. It’s nice to have this when you arrive , We enjoyed or stay and my comments are meant to be helpful .

Family weekend break

A lovely house with a great view and great garden - our dogs loved it 😊 Inside was clean, and well set up and the welcome gift was much appreciated. My only small comment was the Venetian blinds were quite dusty. Queen beds were upstairs and single beds downstairs which made it slightly challenging when traveling with young children, but we all had a wonderful time. It is in a nice area, walking distance to the beach. Would definitely stay again 😀

Would stay in this property again, was amazingly equipped very roomy and comfortable. Door in leading into kitchen that closed off the stairs was great for infants parent were able to relax.

Location

A good view of the Beach and a 2 Km drive to the shops. A very neat garden and ample parking. A well sent out home with just about every Kitchen appliance, Crockery and Cutlery that you could want. An extra fridge in the Laundry that was a pleasant surprise. Certainly what we expected and not disappointed

Perfect location near nice beaches and town centre

The property is located in a great position, minutes away from lovely beaches and short drive to Cowes town centre for all amenities, etc. The view from the deck is quite spectacular. The house itself had everything you could need and was very tidy and clean. Would highly recommend.

We were very impressed with the view, living areas and garden of this property. It’s a short drive to shop’s and swimming beaches. It’s been lovely exploring all the walking tracks along this stunning coastline, especially after lockdown.

Lovely property in a lovely location

Had a great time on our family holiday to celebrate our mum’s 80th birthday. The property was well appointed with everything we needed. Our dogs loved it too, short walk to beach and good fencing. The stairs are steep but manageable - even for 80 year olds. The views are lovely. Bedding configuration was different to what we expected - two queens upstairs, two twins downstairs - the sofa bed saved the day!

The booking costs were excessive.

The property/ house was excellent. Clean and spacious. The booking process was onerous. We booked with HomeAway, who took our money then passed us onto Coast and Country Getaways. More money. Then a huge deposit. Then excessive charges per person for linen. So for two nights we paid A LOT. 25% service//administration fees is outrageous. Plus it took ages to get our deposit back . Will not bother with either of these booking places again. I feel sorry for the house owner.
