The property inside was clean and tidy. It was a little bit on the older side and the carpets were a little bit unkempt. The old spiders webs on the outside of the building were an indication of its age. But it was a central and convenient place to stay after watching the penguins.

My sister and I stayed one night in a twin bed room. We ordered a balcony room overlooking the bay, it was lovely to sit out with a relaxing drink. Although we were on the 2nd floor and no lift only stairs, so dragging luggage up was a challenge as was getting it down the stairs. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable bathroom was huge and we could both fit in front of the mirror with loads of space, would recommend staying here again

The bay room views are wonderful. The rooms were spacious, although the bathrooms are curious with an added changing area without seating or a place to hang clothes/robes. The walls are thin, however, and noise carried between rooms easily.

Room was clean. TV didn’t work properly had to retune it ourselves, barely any channels and no access or way to watch Netflix or any other streaming services. Room was above the smoking area which was loud and smelt disgusting not great for asthmatics to walk past and have the smell wafting not the room.

It was a budget room 404 with a shower over a bath. You had to step over the bath to shower without a rail to hang onto. Then you showered on a rather slippery floor. Lastly, getting out means lifting one leg high to step over the side. All your weight is on the other foot, with nothing to hang onto and there is only a slippery wet surface supporting all your weight.
