Beautiful luxurious and spacious room. However, be advised that there is no air conditioning at this hotel. They will tell you it cools down at night, but it really doesn’t cool down enough in the summer months. The shower is one of those that doesn’t have a door or a barrier to the rest of the bathroom, so you have to hug the wall if you don’t want to flood the bathroom. In our room, there was no water pressure, and the hand-held (cheap) shower head leaked terribly so that you couldn’t really work with it to get your hair washed. This is not acceptable in an ADA room where it could be a person’s only option for showering. They provide a portable fan and there is a ceiling fan, however the cord is not long enough to reach the cool air coming from the patio at night (bring your own extension cord). The screen door to the patio was also torn from the bottom. We absolutely LOVED that the room included a small full kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, cupboards with dishes, and sink. No dish soap, so bring your own. Except for the negatives I mentioned, I could see myself staying here for several days, just not in the dog days of summer. One more thing to consider: because you need to leave the patio door open in the summer to get the cool air, you will be awakened by all the noise coming from the ski lift, which commutes cyclists to the top of the ski slope and whatever beeps come from little trucks doing construction (?) work. Mountaineer Square is a busy, noisy place.

The hotel could benefit from some updates. The beds were uncomfortable, and the room cleanliness was below expectations. At check-in, we didn’t receive any information about amenities or their locations. The pool and hot tub appeared unclean, and parking was quite limited. Overall, the experience did not meet the standards we were hoping for.

Maybe one of the most bland hotel experiences ever. Patio door didn’t sit on a track. No chairs on the patio. No air conditioner, which is fine, until your neighbors smoke weed on their patio half the night and another has a 6:00am call on their patio. Staff didn’t look up from their phones, greet, or show any level of, “glad you’re here!” Parking is a nightmare. It’s either over sold or under enforced. The town and nearby recreational opps are epic. Nothing like it. Elevation, however, is like store brand 2% milk. Adequate.

The parking garage is a terrible design and not nearly large enough. We had to park down the street. The staff didn't charge us the parking fee due to the inconvenience, but still, for what we paid we were not happy. The elevators are a joke as well. Pool is tiny. Our room was nice and the hotel was clean with friendly staff. Heads up for summer visitors: there seemed to be no air conditioning in our room and the large fireplace near checkin was roaring. We will not use this hotel again.

Avoid this hotel at all cost. It’s dated, worn down and in dore need of renovation. Staff seem to hate their job. The only dinner option at the hotel is «Jose», that serves below average mexican food.

Excellent hotel for anything you need. Located centrally in the village for easy access to any activities. Short drive to amazing hikes. Restaurant/bar onsite. Billards/foodball/ping pong also onsite. 3 minute walk to free bus to get to town. Highly recommend

We stay at The Elevation 5-6 times a year. It has large, comfortable rooms. It's very dog friendly. The location is great. The breakfast grab and go is delicious. We've tried other places in CB but just keep ended up back at The Elevation.

Our major issue is we chose this property in large measure because they offered 2 restaurants and bars invite. They were all closed during our stay. There was no notification on the website of the closure during this time of year.

We chose this hotel because it offered a restaurant and two bars. This was important to us due to my sister’s lack of mobility. Upon arrival we were informed that it was the mud season and they were operating with limited staffing. Thus the restaurant and bars were closed. Room service was available only upon request which we were not informed of. We were not give what was advertised.

Really dirty! Decor very outdated and worn. Holes in bedding; robes in room were torn and stained. Unable to cool room and fan in room was so filthy we didn’t want to touch it. Vents were filthy too. Overall bad experience. No amenities open and $30 a night parking plus ridiculous additional charges.
