NEW! Charming Cabin by Cumberland Mtn State Park
Hiking, golfing, blueberry picking, and more are minutes from your front door when you stay at this cozy Crossville cabin! Nestled on 4 wooded acres, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath vacation rental offers a private, yet convenient location near the areaâs best attractions. Start each morning with a cup of coffee on the front porch before making your way to Fairfield Glade for a day full of golf. Come nighttime, gather around the cabinâs fire pit for sâmores or in the cozy, heated living room for cuddles.
Loved the location. Owner was responsive to any questions we had. Private with nice patio to hang out on day or evening. Close to town and other attractions.
This spot was amazing! Right across from state park, on a couple hikes I walked there from the property, super easy. Thereâs even an Italian restaurant next door for a 30 second walk for dinner. And everything else is only 15 minutes or less drive, including creekside brewery, restaurants downtown and of course Buc-eeâs! You feel secluded but safe, a family of deer walked thru backyard while I was having morning coffee. Loved the natural light via skylight in main room and kitchen. If you are a flipfest parent that wants to stay nearby, this place is only 20 minutes from camp. I was working all week while my daughter was at camp and the wifi was excellent. Zero issues and Iâm on video calls all day long. Communication was excellent and everything was exactly as advertised. Such a cute cabin, if Iâm ever back in the area I would stay again for sure. A spot!
This was an absolutely beautiful cabin. It's a very secluded and private property. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the wildlife. Not much privacy indoors, but that's ok. We had a slight hiccup on check-in day, (our fault) but owner was quick to respond and resolve the issue. We would definitely stay here again.
Overall I'd rate the cottage a 8/10. Generally cute and comfortable and was clean at the surface level (floors, countertops, bedding), but could definitely use a thorough/deep cleaning for the bathroom, under the beds, in the closets, in the cupboards/drawers, etc... Wifi worked great. Nice kitchen and porch areas, though I didn't get to enjoy the fire pit or grill (or any of the outdoor activities in the area) due to rainy weather during my stay.Host was friendly and responsive.I stayed alone and while the seclusion was peaceful and serene during the day I felt a little anxious at night, primarily because there was no alarm system.Overall, a positive experience and a cute cottage.
This was a great little 2-bedroom cabin. It's far back from the road so you have a nice secluded yard to hang out in. All the basic amenities you might need.
We love this little cabin. Secluded and clean. Nice little get away! The host was very helpful and informative! We would definitely stay again! Thank you!
This house was absolutely perfect for my solo trip to the mountains. It is only 4 minutes away from the Cumberland Mountain State Park. Itâs literally across the road. The location is far back enough off the road you feel secluded. But close enough to town and access to stores. The host literally thought of every single thing. Honestly pack your clothes and toothbrush. You need nothing else. It has been my most perfect stay anywhere. I plan on making this a yearly trip back.
The host was responsive with any questions we had before and during our stay. There were a few things that we did not particularly like such as we saw multiple dead bugs on the walls (spider webs, with spiders), it was right off the highway which we didn't realize (we thought it was more secluded), and the last 2 nights, when we turned on the heat, there was what smelled like a dead animal smell. We did not smell this the first night.
Despite these issues, the cabin had a covered porch that we listened to a storm from, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. All in all, our stay was average (stayed at better but also stayed at worse).
Very cute. Very clean. Great location for us as we went to Nashville, Gatlinburg, Knoxville, and a couple of the national parks. Check in and out was easy. And that was good because it was my 1st Vrbo experience. Having the washer and dryer was nice and now i dont have all of it to do when i get home. Grill was nice too. We did have a herd of deer run thru the backyardthrubyard
We stayed at the cabin while visiting family over Thanksgiving. It was a sweet little home for us away from home. The grounds were lovely to view from the windows. Everything is set for enjoying time out doors on the deck and at the fire pit. We would happily stay here again.
Wife and I have stayed here a couple of times and will be back. On the main road but nestled back on a private drive you get the feeling of full privacy. Grounds are nice with a few walking paths. Easy drive almost directly across the street to Cumberland Mountain State Park.
This is a great option if you want to take advantage of Cumberland Mountian State Park (within walking distance if you choose). The house offers everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The only negative is the bathroom, and this would not be an issue if you were with parents and kids, but if you are staying with friends, it makes it awkward not to have a bathroom door close all the way.
Had a little hiccup starting off, but the owner was very nice and Accommodating. It was perfect for my wife and I to enjoy what we like to do. Thanks again for your hospitality!
This being my 1st Vrbo ever I was pleasantly surprised. I have heard some horror stories. Loved all the small details and the privacy of this place. If I blinked I would have missed the driveway. Set back from the road. Quiet. Private. Loved the seclusion. Best words I can think of shabby chic cabin. Front porch/curb appeal beautiful flowers in front. Nice front porch. Very welcoming. Inside was minimalist (love that!) and brought in new styles of barn doors. Updated appliances in kitchen. Nice back porch with an area in backyard for a fire. Surrounded by woods. Cabin's thermostat was set at 71 and perfect the entire time, never had to adjust it and it was 80-90's the whole time and really humid outside. Bed was very comfortable. Nice little restaurant with great food right next door next to driveway and road. Enjoyed this stay very much. I believe anyone whether single, couple or small family would enjoy this as well. My daughter stayed with other family but when she stopped by she really liked this place as well. Thank you for the great stay.
Once we were checked in I no longer had access to the reservation to reach out to the owner. When I tried to login to communicate the email address showing was not mine and I couldnât get it corrected under the settings. I needed to let the owner know we had to leave a day early and needed checkout instructions. We didnât receive the owners email until after we left.
This little house was so cozy & absolutely perfect! It was very clean & fixed up to be very modern. TV/wifi worked perfectly; there was even laundry! The deck/back yard were adorable and had a nice are for a fire and a setup for bags. It was also within an hour of all places I wanted to see (waterfalls/swimming holes) and within a half hour of most of them. Location is very quiet & peaceful. Clearly, I canât say enough about this property; weâd stay here again & again! *Not very close to âbiggerâ cities, but thatâs exactly how we like it!
