Winter break

Excellent location and view. Appartement is a little tired: fridge works poorly, stairs wonky.Otherwise great and relaxing.

Cul de Sac Area

The apartment itself was fine. Clean and comfortable with appropriate amenities including a pool. The VRBO listing map indicated Marigot area with a 12min walk to the Tourist Office and 6 min walk to Fort St. Louis. The apt was not in Marigot but on the other side of the island in the Cul de Sac neighborhood. The water is being rationed in that area so there was no water during the day after 900 or 1000 am and sometimes at night. Water usually came on again about 5pm. Had to plan when to shower and use the toilet. Washing machine was broken. When I asked about the incorrect location and description in the listing, the owner said she did not write that and it must have been the website she used to list the property and the website edited it incorrectly. The apt is secure in a gated community and has a view of Pinel Island and you can walk to the ferry boats to transport you to Pinel Island.

[ No A/C, not clean, unresponsive host. ]L'hôte m'a permis de m'enregistrer tôt puisque j'étais déjà sur l'île. C'était pratique. Le processus d'enregistrement fut bref, pas plus de 45 secondes : pas de salutations chaleureuses, pas de visite de l'appartement, pas de discussion sur le fonctionnement des appareils, pas de politesses ; juste « Garez-vous ici », « Voici les clés », « Voici le bouton de la porte » et « Au revoir. » C'était comme si l'hôte voulait partir le plus vite possible après mon arrivée.L'unité était annoncée avec « air climatisé », mais la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. L'unité interne soufflait simplement de l'air à température ambiante, et le compresseur externe sur le balcon ne s'activait jamais. La température intérieure de l'appartement était d'environ 30C (84 F) pendant tout mon séjour. J'ai informé l'hôte du problème, mais je n'ai reçu aucune réponse. Après ma deuxième tentative, l'hôte a répondu « utilise le ventilateur ».Malgré les frais de nettoyage élevés pour cette location, la propreté de l'unité ne répondait pas à mes attentes. C'est comme si l'appareil avait reçu un nettoyage très rapide ; Le service n'était pas du tout complet.La salle de bain était propre et a fourni de l'eau chaude pendant mon séjour. L'électricité a fonctionné et Il y avait un stock de vaisselle de cuisine.Le matelas du lit était confortable, et le seul drap fourni était propre. Les escaliers menant au grenier sont branlants et ouverts, et sa rampe tremble.

Jolie vue

Appartement bien situé avec une très jolie vue sur l'ilet en face. Résidence calme et sécurisée. Par contre, il faudrait revoir les éléments à l'intérieur du logement tant au niveau de la cuisine (vaisselle à remettre à neuf...) que de la chambre (oreillers et matelas) afin d'améliorer le quotidien.

Bon emplacement

Appartement bien situé au calme et à proximité directe du ponton d'embarquement de l'ilet Pinel. Vue directe mer avec terrasse ombragée l'après-midi. A noter, le canapé lit ne fait que 120cm donc couchage pour 1 personne.
