Overall, the hotel is very good. Breakfast was fine and the location is excellent. We had an unpleasant issue on the first night: we were given a room which, although nice and spacious, had an intermittent noise coming from the ceiling that lasted the whole night. It sounded like knocking or dripping. Sleeping through that on the first night, while still getting used to the altitude, was practically impossible. However, the staff were very helpful in relocating us to another room the following day.

Very nice property in a great, central location. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the rooms were clean and well appointed. Everything you need is within walking distance, and I felt very safe in the area. Would definitely stay here again if I returned to Cusco.

What an amazing property… and I do mean a-maze. Created by combining several buildings from the 16th century, it provides a very unique lodging experience. Beautifully appointed and comfortably furnished, it truly evokes the past.

Lovely heritage property

Lovely heritage property. Great location - walkable to anywhere in the city. Comfortable though small rooms. All mod cons. The only thing stopping me from 5 stars was that the bathroom was not clean when we checked in. It was cleaned promptly when pointed out but not a great first impression- also the lady at the reception didn’t seem too concerned when we told her about it.

This is a beautiful elegant hotel with an old world feel and quietly blended with all the modern amenities for today’s guests. There are several quiet nooks and patios scattered in the hotel that made me wish I had all the time in the world just to sit in each for a few hours. Everyone here is kind and thoughtful. We would definitely come back to Cusco and stay here again

great hotel with lots of character, excellent location and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet could be much better for a 5 star hotel (although the chef based egg station is great). Room was a little cold and reliant on electric heating. Good spot for a trip to Cusco.

We spent one night here after hiking the Salkantay trail. It was a large spread out property. The rooms were 4 star. I loved how quiet it was compared to the hotel we stayed at before our trek. The breakfast was amazing! Tons of fruit and homemade options. Wish we had stayed another night.

I booked 6 days but at check/in ,I indicated that I had to leave on the fifth day because of Lima airport closure but they refused to refund me . At the end , after back and forth , they refunded me but a parsley sum - paid $1450 for 6 days and was refunded $120 for the sixth day . Not pleased with this behavior. Overall stay was good but thus dampened the experience.
