Immaculate Pet-Friendly Cabin with The Best View on the Lake!

4 bedroom / 3 bathroom ADORABLE cabin in Dadeville located in the Paces Point area (a.k.a. Pleasure Point) on Lake Martin! We're centrally located on the lake - 30 minutes from Auburn and just off HWY 34. This is cabin has incredible 180 degree unobstructed “big water” water views, deep year-round water, one of the largest boat docks on the lake, boat ramp / launch, a deck with seating off the family room, a stone patio with a fire pit (firewood included), and more. Sleeps 10. During the summer, the water is 20 feet deep off the end of the dock. Perfect for a family vacation or long weekend getaway!

We did a renovation in 2021 that includes a new bunk room, a new full sized bathroom, and updated paint, counters, all new furniture and lighting. The cabin still sleeps (10) but we have 4 individual bedrooms instead of 3... and 3 full baths!! The bunk room has 3 twin XL beds that will sleep adults (1 bed is a trundle). Master has a king bed (w/ private bathroom with walk-in shower), other two guest rooms have queen beds. There is also a pullout sofa bed (full) in living room. We make it our goal to keep everything clean and in good shape for our guests, all spaces are professionally cleaned between stays.

Property rental is complete with Keurig coffee maker (starter pack of K-cups included), microwave, dishwasher, brand new washer & dryer, internet, TV w/ YouTube TV and other streaming capabilities, full size gas grill with side burner, fenced in deck / yard - perfect for little ones! We’ve got a fully stocked kitchen for any cooks that may be visiting with us. There is a desk that is perfect for anyone that needs to get some work done, you should have no trouble video conferencing, streaming, etc with our high speed wireless internet.

This cabin has it all but the best part is definitely outdoors! Whether it’s taking in the expansive view from the deck, swimming, hanging out on the patio, at the fire pit or fishing. Our yard is immaculately kept and we have a Green Monster light for fishing from the pier at night. Some of the best fishing on the lake can be done straight from the dock! There is plenty of space to tie-up boats and water toys.

Cute little cottage with incredible views of the lake. The home was clean, stocked with all the essentials, and very peaceful. We were able to bring our pets, which was a bonus as this home has a fully enclosed area for them to play. You can't beat the location, close to grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations. You won't be disappointed, this home is perfect for a family get away!

We have been blessed to spend Thanksgiving in this AMAZING home for the third time. It’s incredible in every way: desirable location, beautiful decor, and thoughtful touches. Beautiful view and location!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Property looks exactly as pictured and the view is breathtaking! The communication leading up to our stay was not great, but thankfully I was able to get some help from friends closer to the area prior to our visit and nearby boat rentals, etc. Upon arrival, the house looked great but one bed did not have clean sheets and some towels also smelled like they had not been washed. There is a washer/dryer onsite, so we were able to get everything taken care of, but that was the only thing that was even somewhat disappointing. I would still stay here again!

Great House and Amenities

I am not one to leave negative reviews, but our stay was so disappointing. First, I want to be clear that the house, property and amenities were all great. The property owners have done a really good job with thinking through all the necessities, especially if you bring children and your dog. No complaints at all and we would love to book again, but not with the same property manager. We were there with family to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived and went inside, nothing had been done since the previous people stayed there. Beds were all unmade with dirty sheets, the bathrooms, the kitchen, the floors, glass doors, kitchen table and island were all dirty. We had to wait for the cleaners to arrive and for them to clean for almost three hours. I started cleaning things myself before they got there. The property manager did apologize and said there was a mix up in scheduling. The next day, I texted her and asked if we could stay a few hours late since we didn’t have access at check in time. She said she would have to see if someone was checking in. I didn’t hear back so I texted again the next day, no response. I finally heard back an hour and a half after we had left (at the original stated checkout time). I will be looking into some kind of refund for this unprofessional experience.

Amazing Lake Views!

Beautiful, clean house and great location! The view is spectacular, perfect spot to watch the sunrise. The dock was fantastic! We rented a boat for 3 days from Momentum Marine and fished everyday...caught several fish, including over a 10 lb catfish! We enjoyed the fire pit which was well stocked with wood. Loved eating at Chucks, The Landing at Harpers Point, Lake Martin Pizza and Poplar Dawgs. Nirvana Latte, close to the house, had great coffee and amazing cinnamon rolls!! Kathryn, the owner, and Summer, the property manager, were easy to communicate with, informative and very kind. They provided the perfect vacation spot for our family! We needed to be close to Auburn for our son and this house was an easy 40 minute drive away. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Great Lake getaway

Great house, nicely redone and updated. Amazing yard, wonderful docks and boathouse area. Great space with the bedrooms and tons of eating space for a large group as well as an amazing sunrise viewing area from the deck and huge windows. Quiet area, all around great. Only downside was the steepness of the driveway with the thick rocks and the steepness of the boat ramp. It was really difficult to get boats up the driveway. We ended up using the public boat launch at the end of our stay which was a short drive away.

Absolutely beautiful house and location. So quiet and private. Gorgeous sun rises. House nice - fully equipped. Only issues were lack of firewood, empty grill gas tank & contradicting info on WiFi and location of check in info. We arranged a delivery of firewood and took propane for exchange. Property manager said she would reimburse but never did.

Beautiful property that Exceeded expectations!

The listing was completely accurate! It’s as beautiful as the pictures show! We only stayed 4 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. This was our family’s summer vacation and this was the perfect place for us. We had an issue during check in but both the property manager and owner acted quickly going above & beyond to make it right so we could enjoy our vacation! Graduation on the Lake

We rented this property for our family to stay to celebrate our Auburn graduate. From my 76 yo mom to the 12 yo nephews, everyone had a great time and there was plenty of room to space out. From fishing on the boat dock to sitting by the fire pit at night, we had a lovely time. We will absolutely come back! The best part was it is doggy friendly and the pups loved the fenced space just for them!

Great location & Views

The cabin is adorable and overall we enjoyed our stay. Location is great, home is cute, and we loved the views. The problem was with the complete lack of communication from the property manager. Calls and texts were unanswered over several days. The owners were helpful once involved. The house gets full sun yet there is no shade on the porch and no window treatments. We were there for 10 days leading up to July 4th and it was so hot my kids burned their feet just walking barefoot on the deck. The deck furniture is metal so we had to buy a tent, rugs and fans in addition to covering all furniture outside to use. Only one of the bedrooms (not the primary bedroom) has a closet. We didn't have a problem with the steepness of driveway - but it is a workout! Overall we had a great trip but it was more work then I intended!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the home was convenient and the boat dock was great. They also had a lily pad in the water that we were able to use. The home had everything we needed as far as space, kitchen conveniences, bathroom towels, etc. The only challenges we had were the driveway and the boat ramp on the property. We were hoping to launch our 23’ bay boat from the property, but the driveway and boat ramp were too steep. The parking area had a lot of river rocks on it which made it difficult to drive on and maneuver with the boat trailer. Having said that, there is a close public boat ramp that was easy quick to drive to where we were able to launch from. Overall, great home.
