The property was not as described. Upon arrival we noticed there were only window units, no central heat/air. The walls showed several spots where holes had been haphazardly repaired. The electrical sockets had been repaired poorly, showing small holes and spongy walls around them. The crown molding was randomly pieced together. Where places should have had mud work done, it was only caulked. The toilet wasn't properly bolted down and rocked when sat on. Painting on walls were subpar, you could see old paint through new paint.I have stayed at multiple VRBO rentals in similar price range and this was, in my experience, not up to VRBO standards. We ended up leaving and paying for another room at a hotel for the same price that was spent on this room.Although we were not offered a refund, the host did communicate well.
You get what you pay for. The pullout couch was broken. Which sucked because we had planned on using it for 2 people to sleep on and we had alter sleeping arrangements for everyone to accommodate the broken futon. The plumbing in the shower was leaking. The shower also made very loud noises when you turned it on. I could complain about the poor quality in trim or drywall but it didn't effect out stay. It just looked very bad. We didn't need to use anything from the kitchen but I did notice that some of the utensils were broken. One positive note is all window unit ACs worked awesome. Overall, the rental unit was what you pay for and we had a place to stay for the night. Would not stay there again.
We came down to stay for a couple days & visit the six flags parks. We loved how close this was to where we were going to be. The neighborhood isnât the best, but we didnât have any problems while we were there. My only complaint was that we wished there were a couple extra blankets/pillows than just the ones on the beds. Especially with the listing showing that the couch could be used for another bed but not having any extra pillows/blankets/sheets for that use. Overall, it was clean, & comfortable & close for what we needed it for! The management was accommodating & though we didnât need it, I believe they would have been quick to help/answer questions if we had needed them to.
Beds were comfy. Needed extra cleaning around furnitures and stove. Functional, no frills. Neighborhood is a bit run down but no issues with neighbors. Host was super responsive during our stay and is going to let the cleaner know about the above issues. In this price range I would consider staying here again.
The place seemed cleaned and was what we had expected. We enjoyed our first day there but by the time we left my friends were completely eaten up with bed bugs. I personally only got a bite or two but the two of them are beyond covered in bites! Unacceptable and I would like a full refund
The apartment is in a perfect location to enjoy the downtown area and attend games at either ATT stadium or watch rangers play.
Recommend for short stay visits to the city.
Where do I start? This place is not suitable for renting at all.
The laminate flooring and baseboards are damaged, missing parts, ill-repaired.
The shower looks dirty with hard water stains.
Wall paint is several different shades of white and there were yellow-ish stain on the wall in bathroom. Oh, and the bathroom door doesn't shut. The bathroom counter is painted wood... I would recommend a simply vanity w/sink from Lowe's or something, at least.
Furniture is all cheap IKEA so the beds were uncomfortable and we had one flat pillow each.
It smelled like mildew and cigarette smoke. There was a huge water leak all over the floor in the closet.
The couch is dirty, stained. And there are dead bugs in the ceiling fan light.
The only positive is that the owner was responsive and accommodating to an early checkout.
Perfect little place (as advertised) to stay while we visited family and did the tourist thing. Quite street and close to nice fun restaurants. It is no frills but the price couldn't be beat. We will plan to stay again on our next visit.
The rental property was clean and definitely met our needs! It's in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to numerous restaurants and shopping!
It's withing walking distance of AT&T Stadium!
I recommend you take a look at this property - you won't be disappointed!
This listing for perfect for our needs. We were in town for baseball games at Globe Life Park and stayed for three nights. The owners were great and easy to contact and the property was in a great location for us to get to the games and to see the rest of Arlington, which we did. Would definitely stay again.
The apartment was okay, but the couch was dirty and the bed my son was sleeping on in the first bedroom had bed bugs. So we could not continue with our stay at property.
Came in For the eagles cowboys game, walked to the stadium from the property - nice place for the money, great communication from the owner - will stay here again when we go next time
