Great place!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and well taken care of. You notice the cleanliness as soon as you walk in the door. Plenty of beds for our large group. Would definitely stay here again.

No Supplies

There is very limited pots and pans for cooking for such a big house, 2 small pans and one pot. Only one garbage bag was supplied and one extra roll of paper towels. No kitchen towels or wash clothes for kitchen.

Home was not as portrayed in listing. Lots of issues. Owner did allow for cancellation after 1st night but upcharged us for cancellation due to their not mantaining property as advertised. Not sure how that is possible but just want to be done with experience

No AC. Atrociously filthy and unkept.

Was told the day before there isnt any AC on the first floor. Was given the option to cancel or deal with it. No suggestions as to how to fix the situation. Only when I suggested getting some fans did the host suggest I go to home depot to get some. He eventually ordered some to arrive on day 2. The home is in a great location but was filthy. Bug carcasses everywhere. An odor throughout the home. Carpets were filthy an had a black film along the edges everywhere. On the floor next to the bed upstairs we found what appeared to be PUBIC HAIR trimmings (see pic). It was atrocious. The house was also generally in dissaray. Loose and stray floorboards downstairs, and loose outlets hanging off the walls. We had to constantly make sure our 2 year old was not near said outlets/floorboards. When I confronted the host he initially showed concern but once the stay was over and I shared the pictures of our stay he has since ghosted me after i started asking for a partial refund. No response and no follow up. This was the worst experience in a rental we have ever had. Outside of location this place is a dump. Do not stay here.

Disappointed

Strong smell of smoke welcomes you into the house. Definitely a chain smoker lived there and it is soaked into the carpet. Carpet was dirty and the interior and exterior need updates. When we arrived 2 upstairs windows were open. We’re told by manager “to air out the house”

Family Bereavement Trip

The house was very spacious and nice for our family. Extremely clean. Some things were a little worn like the bar stools and the air hockey machine wasn't working. The previous guest took the welcome book so we felt lost trying to figure out the home. Overall besides these minor things the stay was great. The location was around several things.

This place is ahhhmazing!

We stayed at this "Christmas House" for not only Christmas, but three birthdays in the family. The house is pristine and oh so comfortable. There was lots of space to spread out and nice large places to be together...it was an overall 10+! The host was available and responded quickly to our needs. Thanks, Alan!

Review

The pictures were amazing but the house needs some repair. Carpets were dirty and floor was sticky. Needs a new cleaning service. The stairs are very steep so be careful with elderly and children. Nice house could use some updates like new barstools. Chairs at formal dining are loose and chair in mb is wobbly. The mb door got stuck and took a while to get it open.
