Renter beware!!
There is a reason why the price of this unit is so low! It's in a terrible neighborhood. We can't believe that VRBO would allow a slum property such as this on their platform. As soon as we drove up, we were anxious. There were unsavory people hanging out in front and behind the building. The neighborhood appeared very unsafe - I was afraid to leave my car sitting out unattended. I stepped into the unit for one minute just to look around, but was disappointed in the interior almost as much as the exterior. Communication with the proprietor felt like I was always speaking with two or there different people who had no idea of what was going on or of previous communications. After notifying them that we would not be staying in their unit, and scrambling to find a hotel room, they started emailing us asking about marks on the wall! Imagine my fear that they were going to attempt to charge us for damage to the unit when we didn't even stay there for more than one minute! If you're looking for a low rent, unappealing unit in a dangerous neighborhood, then this might be for you.
