Spacious city villa just 15 minutes by car to downtown Dar es Salaam and the Masaki peninsula. Yet, you’re only a few minutes’ walk from shops, supermarkets, and the local life around Makumbusho Bus Stand. A small grocery is just across the street. The villa is high standard for Tanzania, with a surrounding wall, safety grates, and night guard. Ideal for travellers who want both city access and local atmosphere.

This spacious villa is ideal for families or groups who value comfort, privacy, and plenty of sleeping space. The house includes two king-size beds, one queen-size bed and one single bed. Extra floor mattresses available upon request.

Whether you're a couple looking for room to spread out, or a group of 6–7 people, you'll find plenty of space to sleep comfortably. The living areas are bright and cozy, and the fully renovated kitchen (2025) includes a modern stove, oven, and dishwasher. High-speed cable Wi-Fi ensures a reliable connection for work or streaming.

At the back of the property, you'll find two fully independent guest suites, each with one queen-size bed, and a shared kitchenette. These can be rented separately to accommodate larger groups (up to four additional guests).

The main villa is entirely private. You’ll have it all to yourself – no shared indoor or outdoor areas. Guests in the rear suites may pass by the villa to reach the shared entrance gate, but otherwise, the spaces are completely separate.

You’ll have full and private access to the entire villa, including the living areas, kitchen, bathrooms, and all bedrooms. No indoor or outdoor spaces are shared with other guests.

You’re welcome to park up to two cars securely inside the gated property.

The main entrance to the property is shared with guests staying in two separate guest suites located in a different building at the back of the lot. These guests may occasionally walk past the villa to enter or exit through the shared gate, but they do not have access to your villa or private space.

If you don’t drive yourself, we recommend using Uber or Bolt – both are safe, affordable, and widely available in Dar es Salaam.

We’ll be happy to assist you with check-in and make sure you feel at home.

In the evenings and at night, our friendly security guard, Doto, is also present on the property. He’s there to make sure everything stays safe and peaceful, and he’ll be happy to help with small things if needed.

The area is a typical housing area for the middle class, near the Makumbusho Bus Station and the busy Bagamoyo Road. Lots of shopping opportunities, small restaurants, BBQ places, bars and more.

The villa is private and fully self-contained. Two independent guest rooms in a separate building may be occupied, but there are no shared indoor spaces. Guests in those rooms use a separate kitchen and separate terraces, and only pass the villa when entering or leaving through the common gate.

We highly reccomend to use Uber or Bolt in stead of taxi, as it is much safer and and also cheaper. Busses are near and plenty, you can go by tuktuk or you can hire a motorcycle... a pikipiki... if you feel courageous.

NOTE. To use Bolt or Uber, you have to download their app on your smart phone.

ALSO NOTE. Never accept a ride unless the car and the driver fit the description in the app.

If you’d like help with everyday tasks during your stay, we’re happy to connect you with trusted local people. In Tanzania, services like cleaning, childcare, cooking, or even someone to arrange and host a relaxed barbecue evening are affordable – and we’ll gladly help you find the right person. Just let us know what you need, and we’ll do our best to make your stay easier and more enjoyable.

There is a separate building at the back of the property that contains two fully independent guest suites. These may be occupied by other Airbnb guests during your stay. They do not share any spaces with you, apart from using the same entrance gate to enter and exit the property. Your villa, patio, and all indoor areas remain fully private.
