The Homestead is a spacious and family-friendly holiday retreat, just 90 minutes from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Nestled in the delightful Lost World part of Scenic Rim QLD, it offers the perfect getaway for relaxation and nature immersion.

Privately positioned in the heart of a 500-acre property, the homestead is surrounded by captivating mountains and a meandering, invigorating river— all waiting to be explored by guests.

For more than 50 years, the property owners ran a dairy farm before transitioning to beef cattle farming and fodder cropping, which still continues in the surrounding paddocks today. Occasionally, guests have the opportunity to observe farm activities during their stay.

The homestead is conveniently located approximately 5 km from an entrance to Lamington National Park, offering fantastic opportunities for picnicking, rock-hopping, swimming, and exploring the natural beauty of the region.

The property was perfect for our large family group. Plenty of space to relax and play. The separate sleeping wings of the house were especially suited to our needs. The pool and outdoor seating area were fabulous. The kitchen and BBQ area were set out well and easy to use. Wonderful property for a big family gathering. Too cold for the pool but a lovely bbq and fire pit. Very well presented and clean and they had everything you could want from kids games, dvd’s, a fully stocked kitchen with all utensils, pots, plates, glasses and cutlery you could want.Only guests with Telstra got phone reception but it was lovely to escape from being on ones phone all weekend. Highly recommend staying here!
