A Family Place - 16 Steep Slope Run<br><br>A Family Place - Spacious Home, Outdoor Hot Tub, Pet Friendly

16 Steep Slope is called A Family Place because it is set up to make families comfortable. Starting with a large, level driveway that can hold 4-6 vehicles it is easy to unload with no steps to navigate into the house. You enter the front door into the family room with a cathedral ceiling, skylight and beautiful native stone, wood-burning fireplace with raised hearth. 



The main level has a dining table that seats 8, plus a large eat-in kitchen with additional seating for 6. Or you can enjoy eating outdoors at the picnic table that seats 12-14. A gas grill is provided for your use. The kitchen is equipped well enough to cook Thanksgiving dinner for 16 - because that`s what the owners do! If you want to prepare many of your meals here, you won`t have to worry about having what you need.



The family room has a queen sleep sofa and matching love seat and TV/DVD. The main level also has the master bedroom with TV and a full bath. The walk-in closet in the master bedroom is where you can find board games, a playpen, high chair, card table and chairs and other items that families sometimes need. Upstairs you will find a large bedroom suite with a vaulted ceiling that includes a TV/DVD, a queen bed, two twins and a full bath. Downstairs you will find a family room with a TV/DVD, a foosball table, and two sofas (one is a queen sleep sofa). The toy box is stocked with toys for little ones. There is a large bathroom, plus a laundry area with super capacity washer and dryer on this level. The last bedroom is located downstairs with a queen bed and bunk beds (and an air hockey table).



The house has Cable TV and wireless broadband internet access. There are large decks with plenty of seating and an extra large hot tub that will seat 8-10. Perfect for 2-3 small families to share (each can take a level), or large families, groups or reunions. Plenty of space to spend time together, and private areas where you can get some alone time! The lot is semi-private, has a horseshoe pit, and is surrounded by wooded areas. Northpoint has direct access to trails in the National Forest. Pet friendly.

Relaxing Retreat

We rented this property super last minute and the host was quick to respond and helpes us restore the vacation we thought we almost lost. We had such a blast! We loved the fireplace inside, the gated back deck so our dogs could also relax, and all the cooking tools available to make a great meal. The trails nearby are spectacular. We will definitely be coming back here if we can!!

Great Family Place

This was a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. There was plenty of room for our group of 14 to hang out together or hang out in groups. Everyone had a great time and would like to make it a yearly tradition. Was fully stocked with any kind of kitchen appliance you would need. We didn't have any small children with us but there were plenty of toys, books and games if we had. Would definitely go back.

Needs attention

The cleaning team did the best they could but the house needs repairs. The oven door was broken off. Cabinets were broken. Carpets were disgusting. The downstairs smelled so bad we didn’t want to sleep there. Couches were old and musty. Everything was dusty and musty.

Fun but Dirty and Mildew

The place had a lot of accommodations. The hot tub, fun games, baby accessories, etc. My kids had a blast. From "waist down" it was clean. The windows were full of cobwebs and many windows were broken. This was disappointing not being able to enjoy the fresh mountain air, especially without air conditioning in most of the house. The basement smelled very strongly of mildew and had a very musty feeling. The upstairs ceiling was covered in cobwebs and the ceiling fans and upper wall were covered in dust and bugs. I tried contacting the realtors, left a message and they never returned my phone call.

Lacking of cleanliness

Bathroom had hair and toothpaste in sink and tub. Needed to go out and buy cleaning supplies to clean on Sunday. The basement was wet and musty despite humidifier. Kicked up allergies on one who slept in downstairs bedroom. Area was great. Living area was small for number it accommodates. Gameroom has broken electronics. So not exactly as described.
