Spring break trip
Publié le 28 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay with our kids, and 2 other groups of friends and their kids. The house set up was perfect for 3 families with kids, and was spotless when we arrived. The views were amazing, and we were able to watch 3 beautiful sunsets from the living room and deck during our stay. We loved that the house was also in close proximity to several hiking locations. It did seem like we picked an off time to visit with many stores or restuarants being closed, but still had a great time. Already looking to book another stay at On The Rocks!

Weekend getaway

Christmas Gathering at Canaan
Publié le 30 déc. 2021 sur HomeAway"ON THE ROCKS" was the perfect gathering place for my 3 generation family for Christmas this year! First let me comment that the pictures did not do this property justice--it was spacious, comfortable, and, most importantly, had that open kitchen area to where all the family gravitated. The house was immaculately clean and supplied with all the basics my family needed. The fact that there was very little snow in the area did not deprive us from enjoying the nearby sledding slopes, ice skating, hiking areas as well as the incredible vistas from the home's scenic location.
We even had a rainbow the day we left to encourage us to return!
