Nice house with plenty of space. Our group of adults enjoyed the deck and hot tub. Overall the house was clean but just a little dust like it hadnât been occupied recently. The house is in close proximity to the ski lodge and there was a fall art festival that we were able to walk to. Would stay again.
We had a great time at this house. It was a walkable distance to the slopes as long as your kids can carry their own equipment. The house had a nice set up, the kids loved the hot tub, the kitchen was fully stocked. The only two things that we had an issue with was that there seemed to be something stuck to the loft bathtub that we couldnât get out and my kids refused to shower there and none of the tvs had cable or were smart tvâs for us to log into. With the NFL playoffs this weekend, it would have been nice to see the games. Not a big deal the rest of the time b/c we were out on the slopes.
The house was nice, perfect for the getaway I was looking for. However, it was not told until after the booking that there is no AC. And with our time frame, we could not cancel or move dates. It worked out mostly, but it would have been nice to have that listed on the VRBO listing, as it would have affected our decision to stay at the house. We also were not informed that there is no trash service on site. We either have to put the trash in our vehicles and take it down the road a couple miles to a dumpster, or leave it and be charged an extra $25. Again, that should have been listed on the VRBO listing.
And last but not least, our decision to stay at the house was based on the hot tub. And it was not until after we booked were we informed that they can't control the hot tub, and there is no discount or refund if the hot tub does not work. Nor was there an operators manual provided in the house for the hot tub to figure out how to get it to work if it's not working, like quick fixes, such as water levels, filters, etc. (Nor do I think the hot tub was cleaned, as the filters were extremely dirty and caused the hot tub to not fully heat up). We had to figure that out all on our own.
Place is really well taken care of, beautiful inside and out, can't ask for more :) definitely recommended 150% if you want to share a beautiful white Christmas with the family and love ones.
