Enjoy a spacious & luxurious 5 bedroom House with a huge finished Attic/2.5 bath newly renovated house with stylish furnishings throughout. This is a historic Home within walking distance to UD and less than 2 miles from Miami Valley Hospital, Oregon District and historic South Park. This home is tastefully updated with Spacious Open Layout, Modern feel while preserving the character of a home built in 1900's.
We have a group of Senior-aged friends who got together for a weekend here. Found it comfortable and clean, which are our two main factors in a stay, and the host team was helpful when needed. The neighborhood is an older one that seems to be mounting a slow comeback.Worth noting as a factor for some: The layout of this house is such that two of the bedrooms are accessed by going through two of the other bedrooms. Only one bedroom is on the first floor, and the stairs in this historic house are narrow and steep compared to most modern homes. Consider all of this if you have privacy or accessibility concerns. Overall, we thought it was a good stay.
This house was perfect for our group of 5. We each had our own bedroom and with 3 bathrooms, no one ever had to wait. The decor is stylish, dining room table is large and are chairs comfortable. The attic kids spot is what dreams are made of for kids or kids at heart. We'll definitely stay here again.
The house was in an ideal location - easy to get everywhere in Dayton and surrounding areas. Neighborhood isnât the best however we knew that ahead of time. Even so we always felt safe. The house was incredibly spacious and very kid friendly!
4 adults and 10 girls spent a few days. Very roomy and everyone was able to sleep in a bed. Well maintained older home. Clean bathrooms. Nice fenced in yard. Surprised that the neighborhood was pretty quiet. Kitchen could use some updating but overall a very nice house. Would recommend for large groups.
Enjoyed our stay in this large, well-equipped home! We were a large family group in town for my daughterâs University of Daytonâs graduation. This house was comfortable and accommodated our group well. And, was just minutes from campus which was very convenient for all the weekendâs festivities. Highly recommend, especially for UD families.
This HUGE home is situated in the historic Walnut Hills area of Dayton. The neighborhood is charming and eclectic and from our experience, very quiet! We found plenty of parking right on the street in front of the house and we had 3 cars! When you walk in the front door of the home, the charm of this classic old home is spectacular! You feel at home immediately in the large, well decorated living room with a large fireplace. Throughout the home each of the 6 bedrooms are tastefully adorned and functional. Above all, it is clean!! And, when they say â kid friendlyâ they arenât kidding. Our 3 year old granddaughter had a blast! Finally, Steven was wonderful to work with. We didnât need much, but he was available if needed. If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to stay at this beautiful home, you will not be disappointed.
My second time staying at this place. Always very clean, convenient and nice. Has plenty of room to sleep and close to UD campus. Thank you Steve for an awesome stay!
Our tennis team stayed here for a district tournament in town. We loved having room to spread out and give everyone their own room/bed. Owner was also flexible with checkout time for us given our unique match schedule. We really appreciated that and the prompt communication!
If you need a lot of bedrooms and space for your get together, this is the place. Grocery and drug stores just a couple blocks away. Owner very responsive. Enclosed back yard. Kitchen has lots of essential baking and cooking implements if you are planning to make meals there. Very happy with this rental.
We rented this house to be near UD for our son's wedding. Check-in and out was easy, and the house was clean. The neighborhood was very quiet at night. My favorite detail of the home was the nice sitting area in the backyard.
Wonderful restored old house Great for families Nice little yard with seating/fire pit
Adorable little kid play room wit great toys and chalk board
Neighborhood is mixed (some run down homes but some very nicely restored like this one)
Manager very helpful and responsive
Highly recommend this home
The absolute best place to stay when visiting your UD student
I stayed with several moms for a UD mom's weekend. We each had our own bedroom, all super comfy. We loved having coffee together in the kitchen in the morning, and sharing stories in the living room at the end of the night. Every inch of the beautiful historic home has been renovated, with a great eye for design. We couldn't have been happier or more comfortable.
The house is very close to campus and the student neighborhood. Certainly walking distance, but we elected to Uber back and forth for convenience.
I peppered the host Steve with questions prior to and throughout our stay, and his answers were always prompt and polite.
Highly recommend!
The beds were so comfortable! It was nice to have the extra space in the third floor area for the kids.
It was nice to have a main floor bedroom as the stairs are rather steep.
The back yard was a bonus!
