Our room had a bed and TV . That was it. No chair, no dresser to put our clothes in, no hair dryer, safety lock was broken, lights going into room not working, toilet paper hanger pulled out of wall, bathtub drain pulled out and put into tub, only one towel in bathroom, one soap in plastic smashed into pieces, no shampoo etc, . Shall I go on. also the pool was closed. WHO KNEW. We were shocked that Wyndham put their name on this hotel It was deplorable

Would not go back (even for the Daytona 500)

We needed a hotel for the Daytona 500 and this was the last room that was within walking distance. Paul at the front desk was excellent and allowed us to park early but the hotel itself was completely run down. The pool was emptied and filled with rain water and patio chairs. I considered not drinking at the race so I could drive back to Sarasota and not sleep there. We didn’t even shower because the towels were stained with black dirty marks. The AC unit clunked all night long so it was the worst sleep I ever got at a hotel. The worst part is we paid over $250 for our room. This hotel should absolutely be condemned!

Dirty- no handle on bathroom door just a hole, damaged flooded bathroom, with visible water damage. Lawn chair for furniture. Leaking ac unit. The bed was so bad we both sunk in.

DISGUSTING- we didn't stay, no way I would ask my family to stay in a place this nasty, we are hoping for refund from expedia, wyndam should be ashamed to attach their brand to this property - nasty, disgusting. only booked due to proximity to daytona racetrack for the 500 weekend - had to drive an hour to find another place to stay after seeing this place and the room, words really can't describe it

The overall property condition was dirty, overflowing trash cans, foul odor in the building, unkept areas throughout the property. No bath towels were provided. Dirty linens piled up on floor of hallway. I've machines do not work. Bathroom was filthy. They required a $100 deposit for damages, when there was nothing to damage as almost everything was already damaged in one way or another.

Expensive Dive Hotel.

The room smelled like bleach when we arrived. It faded after the first night. The beds were tiny, not what most hotels call a double. The tv turned on but there were no stations to watch-no signal. We told the front desk about the issue and they said someone would come fix it, no one did. We also asked for more towels and never received them. Not a hotel I’ll return to, but also not the worst hotel either.

The first room we were given had a sliding door that would not shut all the way, nor would it latch. In the room we were then given, the water coming from the shower and tub faucet was yellow, and took hours for the tub to fully drain. The bathroom was gross, with caulk peeling away from fixtures and walls. The bathroom door could only be shut by slamming it closed.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. And one of the most expensive I have paid for a standard hotel room. I realize the price was high because of the Rolex 24, but $450 for a hotel with the popcorn ceiling peeling off and black mold on the ceiling and baseboards was ridiculous. This place should be burnt to the ground. Don’t know how they pass health inspection. Also, it smelled like cigar smoke. Don’t stay here. Can’t believe that Wyndham would put Their name on this place.

The first room we checked into had no light, Moved to second room..no glasses in bathroom,no amenities like a coffee machine, Wi-Fi password, info or info about the hotel or area. The heat did not work properly, tub water could not be shut off,,ran continuously.Walls were completely bare of pictures,,room looked and felt like a jail cell. The draperies were improperly hungProperty is dirty and lack of maintenance is evident in all wings. One security door could be opened by shaking it.overall, property felt unsafe. This place should not be recommended by expedia. Wyndham needs to take a serious look at this place.it is certainly not up to Wyndham’s standards. Steer Clear!

As mentioned in several other reviews, this property is nothing like the photos online. While I understand that the Baymont isn't exactly the Ritz-Carlton, I expect a minimum of cleanliness and security. I liked that the floors are hard surfaces and the rooms didn't have the faint cigarette smell that most lower-end places do. We were there with a group occupying several rooms. In one room, the tub faucet was leaking, a steady stream. The fan for the HVAC drowned it out, so that wasn't the end of the world. What pushed us over the edge was that in one ground level room, the patio door handle was broken off, and there was no way to secure the door and prevent someone from coming in. The fact that the hotel would rent a room in this condition is absolutely unacceptable, and we could only assume how low their standards were for everything else, so we left. While leaving they had a tow company going through the lot towing cars that didn't have their parking pass on the dash. The lot was probably 3/4 empty, this is a pure money grab for those who forget to put it on the dash.
