Deadwood Gulch is a very nice place to stay. Staff was friendly. The rooms were very nicely appointed. A good value! Everything you need for a great stay in Deadwood is there.

The entrance should have automatic sliding doors. When using the luggage carts, its a pain to opend and hold open the door, while trying to man handle the carts into the building. The rooms need more electrical outlets and usb ports over by the beds. Wyndham needs to quit being cheap in the rooms. I stay at many Wyndham places. During the "season," costs of rooms go up, and rooms don't meet the price. Wyndham needs to pony up some money, without raising rates, and update the rooms and the front entrance.

I loved the staff, super friendly, i wish i could give more stars for them. However the slot machines are mostly outdated and payout was terrible, majority of them had been taken. The bed was super hard. But once again loved the staff and for the price it wasnt too terrible.

The terrace/patio was the perfect spot for coffee in the morning. It was quiet and peaceful. The creek running through is the perfect backdrop. All of the staff we encountered from the front desk to the bar and everyone in between was so helpful and accommodating.

The entry door were filthy and looked greasy for the 3 days we were there. The elevator floor was very dirty and was that way our whole stay as well. When going into the room the light switch at the door did not turn on a light. There was large hair balls on the floor. The bathroom was small and very little countertop area. The bathroom had been painted very poorly. There was a hole in the shower that was repaired with a rough 1.5ft x 2ft plaster patch. Was very disappointed for this being a Wyndham property
