Elizabeth Cottage, Deal
Elizabeth Cottage is a delightful period property nestled in the heart of the conservation area of the pretty Georgian town of Deal and the perfect holiday home for couples or a small family. The cosy sitting room has a wood burner, the kitchen leads onto a cute little courtyard and upstairs are two tastefully decorated bedrooms and shower room. Situated in a quiet side street just off the main promenade and beach, Elizabeth Cottage is also just a short stroll to the buzzing high street with its delis, boutique shops, antiques shops, cafes and restaurants. Beautiful cottage in an ideal location in need of a bit of TLC
We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth Cottage. Itâs in a perfect location: close to the shops, close to the beach, right in the heart of the lovely conservation area. The cottage is very nicely decorated. Two great double rooms. A small but cosy living room and a fantastic kitchen with everything you need. As stated in the description, these are exceptionally steep stairs and our 4 yo struggled a bit.
While we were staying there, we noticed some damp patches on ceilings and walls. We soon realised that this was because of a leak from the bathroom which meant we couldnât use the shower on our second day as water was pouring through the ceiling. This was a shame because otherwise we had a brilliant time there.
