Delightful seaside cottage, central, quiet with free parking. Sleeps 5.

Number 5 is a beautiful light and airy seaside home. It is a 1 minute walk from the beach and close to Deal Pier. It is situated in the old town which is quiet but close to the main shopping area full of independent shops, fantastic cafes and many restaurants.

Number 5 has a sunny garden and parking for one car to the front; this is a real bonus in the centre of town as parking on the road is hard to find and it is expensive in the car parks. If you are bringing more than one car then there is a residents car park around the back of the property which you are welcome to park in if there is space.

It is suitable for all age groups with the ability to place a cot in the double bedroom if needed. Number 5 has a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine.

There are books and board games and a selection of DVD's for you to use during your stay.

If you are bringing children then there is a travel cot, a baby bath, high chair, stair gate, changing mat and toys so that you don't have to bring all of these with you.

There are 3 bedrooms, one with a double, one with twin beds and the third is a single.

There are 2 bathrooms, one is downstairs which has a toilet, sink and shower, and one is upstairs with a bath, toilet and sink.

Deal is a beautiful seaside town with lots to do. It has 2 historic castles, a museum and the only post war pier in the country with an award winning restaurant at the pier head. Deal has wonderful Georgian architecture, a bandstand playing live music, a weekly market and a wonderful beach.

There is amazing cycle rides and walks in the area. You can walk across the cliffs to St Margaret's Bay or cycle to Betteshanger Country Park.

There are many restaurants to choose from and a wide range of cafes and bistros.

Deal has an array of independent shops having won the High Street of the Year award.

There are plenty of places to visit; the medieval city of Canterbury is a 30 minute drive, Broadstairs and Margate are just along the coast, and France is an 1hr 15 min ferry crossing away - so don't forget your passport.

Number 5 has its own parking. It is within 2 minute walk to the town, beach, shops, bars and restaurants. It is not affected by noise as the closest bars shut at 9pm.

It is an 8 minute walk from the train station which has trains to London every hour taking approximately 1hr 30 mins.

trÚs agréable, trÚs bien situé

Nous avons pris 5 jours pour visiter le kent et Deal était un excellent choix comme point de chute. Deal est vraiment une station trÚs agréable. La maison est juste parfaire pour 4 personnes. Elle est trÚs bien placée et la place de parking devant la porte d'entrée est un réel avantage. La maison est trÚs bien équipée, trÚs confortable et bien décorée. Etant arrivés un dimanche, le manier d'acceuil contennat l'essentiel au petit-déjeuner est trÚs appréciable. Je recommande cette location.

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Leider ging unser Urlaub viel zu schnell vorbei. Wir haben uns in Clares Haus von Anfang an wohl gefĂŒhlt. Der Kontakt mit ihr im Vorfeld verlief problemlos, schnell und super freundlich. Wir durften am Ankunftstag frĂŒher als geplant ins Haus, nochmals vielen Dank dafĂŒr! Die Lage des Hauses kann nicht besser sein: zentral und dennoch ruhig. In wenigen Augenblicken ist man zu Fuß mitten im Geschehen.

Great house!

This property was just what we wanted. Very clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. Maybe a couple of games like Scrabble or backgammon would add to possibilities when it is raining. Can’t wait to be stay there again.

Lovely house, great location

This is a lovely little house in a great location. It is decorated with a lovely seaside theme. I was confused about what was in the third bedroom as the listing said it had a futon in it but a previous reviewer had said there wasn't. After querying this with the owner she said a small mattress can be put on the floor of the smallest bedroom if requested and this is what we chose. The conservatory and garden are lovely spaces too. Deal is a great place for a holiday with castles, a pier and promenade. I only gave 4 stars overall because it needs a bit of work-in particular new freezer drawers. The owner said that there was to be work done to it at the end of the season. Overall it was lovely and we would love to visit again.

Das Ferienhaus war sehr schön und sehr zentral gelegen. Man brauchte kein Auto um abends essen zu gehen oder ein Bummel durch die Stadt zu machen. Die EnglÀnder sind sehr nette und zuvorkommende Menschen. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Deal ist super schön

Top Haus sehr schöne Lage ist nah am Strand und an der Einkaufsstraße. Es gibt auch einige Pups in der NĂ€he. Auch die Busverbindungen sind gut also kann man viel mit dem Bus unternehmen. Danke fĂŒr die schönen 2 Wochen.

Ants in kitchen. Lack of cleaning materials. Dishwasher not satisfactory. Defunct lightbulb in kitchen. Had to buy batteries for tv remote. Could not open garden gates. I was not able to go myself but my friends have completed this form. I was shocked to be told that there was no bed in the small bedroom. We hired the house on the understanding that it was three bedrooms which we needed. Although I could not be there on Saturday I was hoping to come later in the week. I feel the house was not as described, which listed double, twin and single rooms, and I think we need a partial refund as the house was not as described.

Great property and prime location

We stayed for a long weekend in Deal (which in itself was a revelation - super nice). The property is just as described- so near to the shops and restaurants and also the beach but without any noise and parking to boot - which could be horrendous in peak season. The property itself is nicely furnished and we spent a long time looking at all the beach/nautical items. All in all I would thoughtless recommend this as a stay and Deal is well worth a visit. Owner was upper helpful and friendly too.

Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Wir konnten einen schönen Urlaub in einem schönen kleinen Ferienhaus in toller Lage verbringen. Die NĂ€he zum Strand ist echt super, nur wenige Minuten Fußweg. Ein Parkplatz vor der HaustĂŒr war gut und samstags der Markt bot frische und gute Produkte. Die FußgĂ€ngerzone und die LebensmittelmĂ€rkte waren fußlĂ€ufig schnell zu erreichen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns viel erklĂ€rt und weitergeholfen.

Lovely break in Deal

We had a lovely few days in this house by the sea. Excellent location, easy walking distance to train station, supermarket, beach and town. The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Communication was excellent. Deal is a lovely town to spend a few days in and also explore the surrounding areas.
