Spectacular Ocean Views! Watch Whale Migrations! Dog Friendly!

Urban meets small coastal village. You can't beat the location of this modern studio condo perched above a retail location in the heart of Depoe Bay. The Spouting Horn Two condo is the perfect home base for all of your central coast activities. Your visit to the "Whale Watching Capital of the Oregon Coast" is sure to be a memorable one. There is a resident pod of grey whales which makes it's home off Depoe Bay from March through December. Visitors from everywhere come to whale watch either from the Whale Watch Center, a charter boat trip, or the many shore observation spots.

Spouting Horn Two is a studio with a comfy King bed and living area with a sofa that can be made into a sleeper and boasts spectacular Depoe Bay views. The full kitchen has textured quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, full size gas range, microwave and refrigerator. Sit out on the glass protected deck to watch the whales and the spouting horn! Need more room? Rent Spouting Horn One, Two and Three or any combination for a larger group of up to 10 people!

Depoe Bay has the smallest natural navigable harbor in the world consisting of six square acres. A huge sea wall runs the length of the downtown area which enables visitors to shop and dine always within view of the ocean. The waves run beneath lava beds and build pressure to spout water as high as 60 feet in the air. These are known as spouting horns and are particularly dramatic at times of high tide. You won't want to miss watching the extraordinary coast guard training missions in the large surf just off the sea wall. There is plenty to enjoy all within walking distance. You can stay busy for days exploring up and down the coast from this convenient location!

Best location ever! Delightful unit with incredible sea views. Not the sofa in the picture. The sofa in the unit was like a prop sofa. Cute to look at but definitely not practical or comfortable. All amenities were perfect including W/D. Would definitely stay in this unit again.

This place was amazing. It was cleaner than many of the places we have stayed. The kitchen was fully stocked with every tool you need for cooking. Sitting on the deck watching whales and the sunset was wonderful. Check in and check out we're a breeze. The preplanning info we got was spot on. We will be back to this wonderful place.

We were in Spouting Horn 2. View was phenomenal but room could have used better nightstands, TV placement, more bedside plug-in outlets, better toilet (which seemed to be no-flow instead of low-flow), and a conventional sink or a faucet head that extended further over the sink. On the plus side the location was terrific (seeing whales right from the room).

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. The location was wonderful. The owner provided binoculars so we could enjoying watching the whales. You can walk to all the restaurants and the deli below was an added bonus providing us free coffee every day. The only complaint was the dining room chairs which came loose when you sat on them. A little glue would solve that problem. We will definitely return.

This was one of three places we stayed on our Getaway. As advertised with help from the property manager to get us an early check in. Great location to head south and see many sights. Well appointed property that met all of our needs. We like to make our own meals and we found the kitchen was well stocked to support our stay.

Amazing View & Location

Our stay at Spouting Horn 2 in Depoe Bay was absolutely delightful! The room had an amazing view of the ocean that left us mesmerized, and the location couldn’t have been better—close to all the shops and with easy access to both Newport and Lincoln City. Dinner or lunch at the nearby Tidal Raves restaurant is a MUST. The decor was adorable, giving the space a cozy and inviting feel, and the gas stove was a real bonus for cooking in. However, it’s worth noting there are 23 steps up to the room, so if stairs are a concern, Spouting Horn 1 might be a more accessible choice.The balcony was a hit not just with us but also with our Golden Retriever—it was the perfect spot for people and dog-watching! While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the only minor critique would be the comfort of the furniture. As older guests who love gazing at the ocean, we would have appreciated more comfortable seating.All in all, we’re already looking forward to returning, and our four-legged friend gives it a glowing 10 stars!

Beautiful little place; clean and nicely furnished and decorated. Only negatives are (1) you are feet from Highway 101 and it was somewhat noisy. Quieted down after ten pm; and (2) - the tiny couch was so uncomfortable. Need to replace with comfy one to watch waves and TV.

Very clean and well set up for watching the tides roll in. All kitchen amenities if you choose to cook for yourself. Puzzles and games for a rainy day. Keurig coffee maker was a nice surprise. This property would be amazing for watching the whales and King tides in the winter or just watching boats come into Depoe Bay. Very happy with our stay and would stay here again.

Here's a refined version of your review:---We highly recommend this studio as a fantastic place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed watching the King Tides—it was an unforgettable experience. You can choose to sit on the top patio to feel the excitement up close (and even get splashed!) or stay cozy inside and enjoy the breathtaking view from the comfort of the couch. As an added bonus, the studio is located right above a coffee shop, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
