Leonardo stay..

Upon arrival, the first impression of the hotel was unfortunately unpleasant, as the exterior carried a strong sewage-like odor. Stepping inside did not improve matters—the air was stale, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The entire property appears outdated and in urgent need of refurbishment, as it seems to have once been a fine establishment but has since fallen far behind modern standards. Accessibility is also a concern; there is no direct access from the car park to the lobby, requiring guests to walk outside and around the building to enter, which is both inconvenient and impractical. The facilities are worn, the décor tired, and the environment generally lacks the freshness and upkeep expected from a hotel of this category. Adding to the discomfort, the air conditioning system repeatedly switched off, making the stay even more challenging. Overall, the hotel does not provide the comfort, cleanliness, or convenience one would reasonably expect, and it is evident that significant investment in refurbishment and maintenance is long overdue.

Basic hotel. Drinks & food expensive. Location was fine. Hairdryer didn’t work. Breakfast, plenty of choice. Something for everyone. Staff could pretend to be happy. Only 30 parking spaces so we parked in the Chapel Street car park. Secure and a decent price.

Average and comfortable.

Good value for money. Tired furnishings and devor, and some dirty mugs around communal areas but overall ok. Near main road so can hear traffic but great location for city centre. Relaxing stay and good checkout time of 11am. Biscuits with tea and coffee facilities would be good as shown on room photos. Iron and board in each room very handy. Light and airy rooms.

Would stay again.

Nice hotel and location. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Blue badge parking, disapointing, only 2 places, then there is no lift from the car park, which is directly beneath reception. In stead, you have to walk outside, up and around to enter. Ok when it is dry.

Good stay for the night

We only stayed 1 night but it was good, quick early check-in, clean room, you could hear traffic noise but not really an issue, was didappointed that safe did nit work even though maintenance came to the room but didnt know how to fix so we had to rake items of property out with us which wasnt ideal but apart from that we had a good stay!!
