Amazing location! Walk to the beach and enjoy our private pool!

Freshly upgraded in March 2025 - all maintenance and cleaning issues have been addressed! This 3 bed 3 bathroom beach house with a private pool. With ample room for everyone and an ideal location, enjoy the sugar white beaches and emerald waters just a block and a half away. Both couches downstairs are pullout sofas (one queen, one twin) and both upstairs bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. Enjoy your morning coffee or late night cocktail on the private balcony off the master suite! Outdoor shower conveniently located on the entrance to the side of the house. Take a walk along the boardwalk, or plan the family cookout on your charcoal grill and large deck overlooking the private pool!

THE COMMUNITY
The community also offers a large community pool, which is heated in some winter months, as well as two tennis courts and a sand volleyball pit!

THE AREA
Walk to restaurants like Kenny D's (fabulous karaoke!) and Captain Daves on the Gulf! The Destin area is known as the Luckiest Fishing Village in the World - let us know if you’d like help planning an excursion! Deep sea fishing is very popular here. Walk to the beach with private beach access!
We do not provide a golf cart but can help you rent one - we encourage early booking as they will book up early in high season.

Let me start off with the owners being great. They worked with us when we ended up in a sticky situation and answered all questions promptly. The location was great and overall, the house was pretty good. The cons we had were the washer and dryer definitely need replacing. I took a video of the washing machine rocking so hard, we had to literally keep putting it back in the laundry room. We ended up only using it twice because we figured out it wasn't even disolving the laundry pods and the clothes weren't actually being cleaned. We had to run the dryer 3x for each load, for the clothes to be dry (this was just normal size loads). My husband was a contractor for almost 2 decades and he picked apart everything in the house being done "incorrectly". To be fair, a normal person like myself, would have never noticed the stuff he was noticing. Several things need updating. The drain plugs and faucet handles were pretty molded. We actually didn't end up using the pool but once for maybe 20 minutes. It took a while to convince the kids that it wasn't dirty, just the paint had come off of the bottom and sides. However, the hose was in the pool and running when we arrived and it was so cold the entire stay that it wasn't tolerable. My husband had to clean out 2 grocery bags worth of leaves from the clogged pump. There was only 1 roll of tp for each BR. Honestly these were just minor suggestions. None of these things were enough to negatively impact our stay, and we had a great week.

Overall a good place but needs more attention to cleaning

Upon arrival, we noticed the house wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. The floors hadn’t been swept well. The comforters were dirty, sheets had stains on them. I contacted the host and she was quick to respond and sent the cleaners out to change the linens. Other than what was mentioned, we enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was nice and we enjoyed having the pool in the backyard!!

We loved the convenience of the location and having the golf cart. However, the vacation rental company needs to look into a different cleaning service. There were several dust, bunnies, roaches, and believe it or not lizards inside the house. I know it is summer in the south, but we feel more could have been done.

Location

Weve stayed in this neighborhood for the last 3 years but decided to try a different house because the backyard was bigger. The house was not bad but needs updates. There was some food on the living room floor, pool not clean and the internet didn't work for 3 days.Property manager was helpful. Regardless we love Destin and this location is great. Golf cart is very rusty and loud as well. Dont think we'll stay here again but it served its purposewoeking.

Skimming the top

The stay was great but that in no part was due to the house or what came with it! Yes we had beds and a space to be together. There were no extra blankets, had to fix a fuse ourselves to get the AC on. The pool was GROSS. None working filter all week. Pool guy showed up and just put the hose in, not a fix! All the codes were wrong on the board random animal food under night stand, the list could go on.

Horrible Stay – Neglected Property and Incompetent Management

Our stay was a disaster from start to finish. The house was infested with roaches, the master bathroom leaked into the kitchen below, and the second upstairs bathroom was unusable due to dog hair clogging the drain. The pool was dirty, the golf cart was rusted and non-functional, and even the towel bar fell off when touched. The entire property is in a state of neglect and desperately needs repairs. Basic amenities were completely missing—no soap, shower gel, dishwasher soap, or even salt and pepper. We had to make a grocery run just to take a shower. There were no extra blankets to deal with the freezing temperatures downstairs, caused by the thermostat being located upstairs. The TV remotes didn’t work initially because they were missing batteries and battery covers. The check-in and check-out process was equally frustrating. The instructions didn’t match what was listed in the house versus the website. We waited 30 minutes outside just to get in the house. Because the code was changed and we were never informed.

Property is in need of many repairs. The house was dirty. I had to mop all the floors. The kitchen is tiny and no where to store your groceries. The Golf Cart seat was broken from rust. The front door lock would open, but wouldn't lock from the outside. We had to use the side door all week. We were disappointed at the condition of the house.

The good & the bad

Golf cart wasnt in the best of shape breaks hardly work, 2tvs didnt work in the bedrooms, there is mold in upstairs bathroom, bugs, the gril was left dirty and didnt work! The kitchen doesnt have vent system for cooking so when using the stove it will get smoky in the kitchen. Someone shoved paper towels in the vents in master bedroom. The good- it accommodated 5 people and 1 pet. Everything worked as should but the 2 tvs. Easy accsess to the beach.

Exactly what we needed!

Beautiful home, close to beach, perfect for our family of seven. Having a pool at house was nice for when we wanted to be at home. Golf cart was fun to drive to beach and to dinner. Would love to come back and stay here in the future.

Nice home but needs a few upgrades

We absolutely had a great time. We would do it again. Loved the house but it is NOT a 4 bedroom. The bedroom on the ground floor doesn’t get cool. The AC can’t cool it down. My husband stay home about 6 hours waiting for someone to come and fix the golf cart. He is a mechanic so he decided to take a look at it after waiting. He fixed it but its going to keep happening. The house is close to the beach and we loved that!

This was the best vacation!!! My adult children with a spouse and 6 month old baby stayed here and we loved it. Easy checkin

Totally disappointed

Pulled into the driveway with 2 dirty, wet mattresses along with trash. The landscaping was a disaster, dog feces in the yard and pool was dirty. Golf cart completely covered in sand and only went 13mph. We had a near accident when someone tried to pass us. A street legal golf cart should be at least 25mph despite what the host said. We have a personal golf cart and previous homes rented have had one. Had to reprogram 2 TV’s and replace batteries. Fitted sheets did not fit 2 of the beds. The host did send someone to get the mattresses, partially clean the golf cart and told us the pool is cleaned twice a week
 no one came out. Landscape company showed up and to quote them “this is a mess”. Clearly this house was not inspected prior to our stay. Destin has been our vacation spot for over 15 years and we have never been more disappointed.

Ohio family Fun

Destin is beautiful and the neighborhood where the house is located is perfect. The walk to the ocean was very short. The golf cart (is rusted in the back, so is really a 4 seat not a 6 seat) but perfect for us as we traveled with 4. The area is perfect to travel and get everything you will need with the golf cart. The house is beautiful. Thanks for letting us use your home. One thing that would be nice is a few beach chairs and an umbrella for the ocean (as a wish list), but overall we had all that we needed. thanks again from Ohio

Could’ve been better

Overall we enjoyed our stay, however there were many things we were not satisfied with. First, when we arrived, the email and document we received about the check-in process had two different codes to the doors, neither of which worked, so we had to contact the property manager who gave us a random third code that finally worked. The same thing happened with the WiFi password - none of the passwords were correct on any documents/emails we received but we finally were able to find the correct password in a folder in the home. The place was clean but definitely could’ve been much cleaner as all of our feet were black at the end of each day from walking barefoot. We found that none of the bedroom TVs worked, one bedroom had a broken light, there was a broken stair outside on the side deck which we had to find out after a guest fell, and one bathroom had cracked and missing grout. All things are easy fixes but were kind of an inconvenience and frustration while there. That being said, the location was nice and having a private pool and a golf cart were very helpful. The communication definitely could’ve been better as well. We did enjoy our stay, but I’m afraid we would likely stay somewhere else next time.

Lovely Place in Destin

Our family had an amazing time. Enough room for us to spread out and enjoy the pool. The golf cart was awesome and saved us with easy parking multiple times with the beach and beachside restaurants!

Highly Recommend

The house was clean and fresh smelling upon arrival and was available earlier than check in which was great for multiple arrival times with our family. The location was perfect, close to the beach and restaurants. The open concept living room, dining room allowed for great relaxing time with everyone. Some recommendations would be to update listing information. The propery was listed as having a gas grill, but that was not the case. The propery recently purchased a charcoal grill for the home. The grill was nice, but was inconvenient. The weekly pool cleaning could have been better. There were no cleaning supplies provided so this was something we did need to purchase clean kitchen counters, stove or sinks for our stay as well as check-out. Overall we highly recommend a stay at Tuscan Sun.

Best Florida vacation

The house had everything and something for everyone pool, walking to beach, lots of restaurants and so much to do and see we only had 7 days. We should of spent 2 weeks . Plenty of room for us all there we’re board games and puzzles. Backyard was great had fenced in yard for our dog. Deck had grill and big enough for us all. Pool was clean and not heated but the weather was warm enough for us to use. I will be back to this beautiful home Thanks for having us Karen from upper Michigan
