Has it all! Closest to the beach and tastefully decorated. This Two Bedroom - Two Full Bath Condo on the Second Floor, no one above you. This unit has Cathedral Ceilings, Large Flat-Panel TV in Living Room and Nice kitchen. King in Master Bedroom - 2 Queen beds in Guest Bedroom. A utility room off the back porch provides access to laundry units, making it easier to leave the sand at the beach. In-Unit internet provided. Screened in porch. Linens are provided, but please bring beach towels. Dedicated Parking Space, Extra Guest Parking, Heated Pool and Deeded Beach Access all included in this community at an affordable price.
Enjoy grilling out on one of the many community outdoor grills available in our picnic areas after a fun day exploring or take a relaxing stroll to local restaurants. We strive to make your vacation a memorable one and want your family to enjoy visiting our Beautifully Landscaped, Family Friendly Property.

Snowbird Season runs from November thru March.

This property was exactly the perfect fit for our family. It was very clean and location was the best. The property manager gave clean and precise directions and instructions on how to check in and out. Gave us all the information on what there was to do in the area and for my family it was our first time in Destin and it was exactly what we needed. This will be our families vacation spot for many years to come. Simply amazing!!!

Destin Vacation

This was my first time booking through VRBO, so I was a bit skeptical about staying somewhere other than a hotel. But, I was pleasantly surprised. The location was great. The property was very clean and contained many essential necessities (extra blankets and pillows, extra toilet paper, dish soap, broom and dust pan, etc.) for us to be able to stay comfortably and clean up all that sand from the beach! The property manager made check-in and check-out a breeze. It took a second since I didn’t realize there were two separate buildings, haha. Eventually, we figured it out.

Me and my husband came to visit Destin for independent day.We had a really great time.The weather was nice, location good,,beach access is just across the street.I would have just one remark about beach towels, would be nice to have them when you are going to the beach, everything else was very good.😊

Highly Recommend

Property was clean, kitchen was well stocked and the entire place was very spacious. Love that it was walking distance to Captain Dave’s and KennyDs. Beach was right across the street and not crowded. Loved everything about our stay.

Good Location

Generally speaking we had a good experience. The location of the neighborhood was good...convenient to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The unit was nice and relatively clean. Our only real complaint was that we booked a second floor unit, because I am a light sleeper, but when we arrived were given a first floor unit due to double booking. Of course the families staying above us had small children and were from a different time zone, so we had to adjust to their time schedule before we could go to sleep. The first floor unit did end up being in a better location in the community than the 2nd floor unit we booked, so it became a trade off. The manager did apologize and was helpful. We left a day early due to bad weather conditions moving in. We would stay there again. Thank you.

Great Location But Bugs in Condo

The location of the condo was incredible - go eat at Captain Dave's right across the street - Beach was absolutely beautiful - pool was great - bathrooms at pool area need major cleaning Condo - had roaches - 2 types - visibly showing themselves during the day so you know there is an infestation - property manager came right away - bug man sprayed the entire kitchen and rest of condo but the place needs fumigated - when we got home we kept our car and belongings in garage and fumigated the garage with 2 cans - did not see anything but we were super careful - the condo needs major overhaul - wash all dishes/utensils before using and keep separate - Richard did give us a Wal*Mart gift card which I haven't even used yet so I have no idea how much is on it - he didn't know either - Richard was willing to move us but the other condo could have been in the same situation

Great Location

Manager was so friendly and helpful. Great location and very clean. We had no issues during our stay. Beds are very comfortable and they supplied plenty of towels/ wash clothes. Would definitely stay again.

This was our fourth time staying at Chateau Lamar it is a very family-friendly property the beach is just a short walk away so you don't have to drive around looking for a parking spot lots of great places to eat within 5 or 10 minutes of the property we had a wonderful time as usual and we'll be coming back

Loved this property. Everything was what they said. Very clean and convenient to everything. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to leave early because of hurricane Michael. We would highly recommend to anyone.
