Located a few steps from the beach, you can't beat the convenience and amenities of this lovely home! Complete with a guest house, this lovely home boasts two full kitchens, THREE living rooms, two sets of washer/dryers, multiple decks, fenced-in backyard with 2 outdoor showers and a private pool; your whole group will have plenty of space to sprawl out and enjoy the lazy days in luxury at the beach! This home is just 2 blocks from the closest beach access at Shirah Street. There are 6 bikes included for guests to use while staying so hop on a bike and head down to the beach!

With 3 bedrooms in the front home, and 2 bedrooms in the guest house, this home will even provide easy access to guests who are unable to climb stairs. The private pool can be found in the middle and is furnished with 2 tables, 8 chairs, and has a gas grill perfect for entertaining. With plenty of space to soak in the sun, this home is ideal for a large group! With most bedrooms having access to the wraparound porch, guests can enjoy a cup of coffee as they soak in the breeze. Complete with private parking for up to 6 cars, this home truly has it all!!

Area Attractions:

Crystal Beach is a terrific residential area, yet close to restaurants and activities in Destin. Convenient to restaurants such as the award-winning 790 Inn on the Gulf, Sarah K's Gourmet, get your fro-yo on at U-Twirl Frozen Yogurt or learn how to ride the waves at All-A Board Surf School.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017.  Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Family Summer Vaca

Amazing House and Memories made during this summer trip to Destin. They allowed us to check in early after a long drive. The house accommodated our large family, easy walk to the beach and the pool was perfect for our evenings in. We can’t wait to book our next trip.

communication with management was great. issues were dealt with as needed. could have used some baking dishes and large mixing bowls . beach and various shopping areas and other activities were nearby. the pool was great once the issue with the pump was fixed (saturday through wednesday it was down which was disappointing)

Overall great experience!

We had a great time at this rental! It was exactly what we were looking for and needed for our group. Loved how close to the beach it was! There were a few maintenance issues but the host responded to our concerns immediately and got things worked out. Highly recommend!

Good for a large group

This house was great for our large group of 7 kids and 10 adults. Lots of places to sleep, 2 kitchens and 2 laundry rooms was very helpful to accommodate multiple schedules. We had a few maintenance issues which the management company repaired. My only regret was the public beach is very crowded, but a short walk to Henderson Park solved that problem for us.

Big fun and not enough time

Two separate houses that hold up to 24 people. We only had 10, and it was worth it. Both houses were clean, easy to access, nice grill by the pool, and of course walking distance to the beach. Consider this as your next big get together/group vacation. Simple house rules and instructions no complaints!

Fun in the sun

Overall, a great stay at the property! The only downsides were the overall cleanliness of the pool and around the pool area. Also, the location of the beach is actually further down than what appears on the map. But the master bedrooms bath tub was amazing! Loved the house and it was very well kept! Awesome neighbors. Great experience.

Wonderful Stay, Spacious, and close to the Beach.

The house is very well located, just a short walk from the beach. It’s spacious, comfortable, and very clean, which we really appreciated. There’s plenty of room, making it ideal for large groups or families.One area for improvement is the lighting around the pool, which is quite dark at night. There are no lights inside the pool either. Also, some windows and doors don’t have curtains, which affects privacy since people outside can see in. The internet was also very poor.Aside from those details, we loved the house. It looks just like the pictures. The location is excellent, and the stay was very enjoyable. We will definitely return — I totally recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And the spaces were perfect for our large party. Super close to the public beach access. I liked that there were plenty of towels available so we didn't have to wash that much during our stay. Only things I was disappointed in was the garbage disposal didn't work in the main house and the ice maker and water dispenser in the fridge of the cottage didn't work. Only other thing was there were some furniture pieces out by the pool that were broken or rusted and should be thrown away. All in all our stay was wonderful.

PROS: - plenty of space for all 16 of us - good supply of kitchen, bath, and bedroom items - pool was very clean and fun - great to have cable tv during relaxing times - patio furniture was very good CONS: - several dishes were still dirty upon arrival (cereal in a bowl, etc.) - the vacuum cleaner in the main house did not work. - the internet connection did not work, and the replacement was unacceptable. - the yard had quite a bit of trash when we got there. - there was no propane for the gas grill.

Great Family Reunion trip

We have been trying to get some family members from Georgia, Kansas, and Missouri together for some time. Finally able to get some together. We had 2 large groups in a couple of Destin locations. Having the two houses at this location with the pool and proximity to the beach made a great spot to meet up. The kids loved having the pool, as did the adults! We were able to set up a large canopy to provide shade and cover from the rain so it was a perfect meeting spot. Living/family room areas are much smaller than they appear online but we made it work.

Thanksgiving Trip

The owners should be ashamed. The pictures are much nicer than the property. All the furniture is cheap, falling apart, and seems to have been submerged in water at some point. The carpet in the bottom bedroom of main house is so disgusting and dirty, it’s embarrassing and disgusting to walk on.Bannister are coming off in guest house. Upstairs guest shower is damaged and sink in. The kitchens are not stocked well and things are either broken or damaged. The couch smelled moldy. Even a simple clean rug in the kitchen would be nice. It’s a great location and the beach was beautiful, but that place needs a deep clean and a serious upgrade. I found the location for my family and I was very embarrassed due to the condition of the home.

me 8:33 PM to Vrbo ✓ Hello, originally our party was for around 20 people but unfortunately some of them got sick so only 9 people went. We mainly used the main house which we enjoyed but there were some issues. When we arrived a little after 4pm the cleaning ladies where still there and the main house was not finished. When they left, the dishwasher was left with dirty dishes and confetti from the previous party was left on dining room lamp. Also, we found roaches in the main house. Despite this we enjoyed the rooms in the main house and thought the kitchen placement was nice. The second house, on the other hand, was a little disappointing because the carpets were really stained. In addition, the grill outside didn't work well. The location of the property was pleasant, though.

Great location & space but not clean

This place is in a great location & had plenty of space for our big family but when we arrived to check in at our check in time(4pm) the cleaning crew(two ladies) were still cleaning and we did not get to get in until after 5pm. They were very nice & I do not blame them but there should be more than 2 ladies cleaning the main house and cottage house. It’s just too much house for only 2 people to clean in a few hours. Once in the house we noticed a lot of roaches(alive and dead) are all over the kitchen in the main house. I won’t go into too much detail but both houses were still very dirty and needed a major deep cleaning. Also, only one bike could be used(not as advertised). We were able to go to the store to get cleaning supplies and clean up a lot of the mess that was missed but with as much as this place costs that should not have been an issue. Like I stated, it is a great location with lots of space & we still had a great time but this place needs a deep cleaning before anyone else stays there.

Great Location and Management but Beware

Great space for 12 but would have been terrible if all 18 had made it. I would not recommend more than 12 to 14 unless several are kids who can sleep anywhere. Beds very comfy. Both washers were broken but the management company paid for our laundry to be done commercially. Multiple repairs..at least 2 safety related one of which was fixed while another required ordering a part. Very clean but we were late getting in bc cleaning was not done. We were given a $100 visa card for the inconvenience. Neat location w easy access to a wonderful beach. Ambiance non existent. You can tell the owners care nothing about fixing the place up which is a shame. It would be nice to have it better maintained bc there are so many positive attributes but the owners don't seem to care if siding is off, damages not repaired correctly, rickety furniture. It can't even be called eclectic but more like run down. A handrail would be nice on the back steps of the main house and the steps of the carriage house. Beware of thinking that people who might have trouble with steps can sleep well on the main floor. One bedroom on the floor in main house. There is a hideaway but no room for luggage. Buyer beware if you really want to sleep 24. Pool nice but could area could be made more attractive with some wall art. The grill was great. Once again the management company was outstanding. Just beware of how potentially crowded it could be. We did not see bikes as advertised, no beach towels, no beach chairs. Just an FYI.

Perfect For big group!

Stayed in the house for a bachelor trip. House was very clean upon arrival. Short walk to the beach and plenty of room for 18 guys
