Welcome to Sandpiper Cove 1001! The perfect place to enjoy the beach a ton of amenities on your vacation.

Located in the back part of Sandpiper Cove you’re steps away from the 9-hole 3-par golf course. You’re just a short walk to 1 of the 5 complex pools. Want to take a swing at tennis? You’re about a 5-minute walk away from the complex tennis courts. When you’re ready to hit the beach you’re only a 10-to-15-minute walk away from the beach. The best part of Sandpiper Cove 1001 is it is dog friendly, so even your furry friend can come along on vacation.


This colorful 1 bedroom 1 bath condo is located on the golf course is Sandpiper Cove.

This roomy condo has a kitchen with full sized appliances and the cookware needed to whip up a meal before hitting one of the five complex pools. The living room offers plenty of comfortable seating and the sofa folds out to a Queen sofa sleeper. The TV is a smart TV, allowing you to watch your favorite shows from home.

There is a small dining area to accommodate the whole family of 4.

The bedroom offers a Queen-sized bed with a new memory foam mattress, ceiling fan, and flat screen TV. The adjacent bathroom offers a large deep tub and shower.

The deck has steps leading down to the free 9-hole 3-par golf course. The condo is located between the 1st and 9th hole, and there are golf clubs in the condo. The complex coin laundry is located just a short walk away.

The private beach is located about 10-15 minute walk away or there is limited parking on the beach side.

This condo also features free WiFi and the complex offers coin laundry.

Friendly Place, Needs Upgraded Space

The pros: convenient location, well-maintained facilities, friendly atmosphere, super pet friendly, comfortable bed. We enjoyed the heated pool, pickleball courts and access to beach.Overall, warm, welcoming community.The cons: kitchen is outdated and needs upgrading, closets jammed with too much stuff so no place to neatly store our own things. Several things need fixing (sliding door screen and chain on lock). Please add kitchen scissors.kitchen needs some scissors. We got no response when we texted about Wi-Fi not working. Luckily it came back on.

Anniversary Week

From the moment we booked until check out, our stay was exactly what we hoped for. This is a pet friendly condo, and the location couldn't be more perfect for taking the girls out and walking them. Our stay involves cooking meals for myself and my husband and the kitchen, though small, was perfect for cooking. This condo, being at the back of Sand Piper Cove is also perfect for us away from high traffic areas. We will look forward to booking for our next Destin Vacation next year and hope that this condo is available.

Great spot and very nice unit!

Let me start by saying we have been staying at Sandpiper Cove for over six years now and absolutely love it. This is a great unit and I would’ve given it fives stars if it weren’t for the check in issues/ renovations upon our arrival. Overall, we loved our stay in this unit and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Very clean, very nice, and went above and beyond by having equipment for the extracurricular activities on the property. With that said, here is the only con with our stay. Upon arrival, there was renovations being done to the unit, which meant we had no where to unpack. We had to keep all of our belongings in our car and change into our trunks to hangout on the beach until it was completed. We later received a call and were put into another unit for the night due to the renovations not being completed. We took time out of our beach time to unpack a majority of our belongings and stayed the night. The next day we again had to take time out of our beach time to pack everything back into our car and move everything over to this unit. It was definitely not fun doing all this back and forth cleaning/ packing and unpacking. We received no compensation for our inconveniences, which was a little upsetting and we would’ve been happy to have stayed in a similar unit to prevent any inconveniences.

Work/Relaxation Getaway

I have stayed at Sandpiper Cove numerous times and am never disappointed. Everyone is always so kind - from the security guards to the grounds staff to the chair service crew. This particular condo had to have the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The pillows were also top notch! The tub was my favorite thing after a day at the beach!! Thanks for a great getaway!!

Perfect home away from Home.

Went for a short getaway weekend . Perfect location. Short walk to beach. Original condo we booked was having maintenance issues. I was contacted prior to trip and was informed and we were placed in another condo which was a perfect Upgrade. Beautiful condo. Comfortable beds, plenty of room. Pet friendly. My Luna enjoyed her stay. Close to all shops and restaurants. Safe area and it's gated which I Love. Hoping to be back soon.
