The Space:

Want to be just steps away from the beach on your next vacation? Then look no further than SunDestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL. This property features expansive on-site amenities, including a newly-renovated outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool (heated seasonally). Get in a workout at the fitness facility then relax in the outdoor hot tub, sauna, or steam room. Pick up some souvenirs in the lobby gift shop, then retreat to your room with complimentary DVD rentals. SunDestin boasts over 3,000 s.f. of meeting room space, making it the perfect destination for weddings, reunions, and business functions. Seasonal amenities include an outdoor tiki bar, and beach chair and umbrella rentals (fee). Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.



SunDestin Unit 1502 is a lovely one bedroom, one and one half bathroom condo accommodating up to six. This restful sanctuary brims with light and sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico. You’ll find plenty of cozy seating in the living room and chairs for six at the dining table. The fully-stocked kitchen has everything needed to create fabulous meals and entertain, with plenty of counter and cabinet space, as well as a stackable washer and dryer for added convenience. Enjoy the private balcony, directly overlooking the gulf, or catch a game on one of two large, flat screen televisions. When it’s time to get some shuteye, retire either to the master suite with king-sized bed, the twin bunks nestled in the hallway, or the queen-sized sofa bed in the living room.



SunDestin Beach Resort, located in the heart of Destin, is just minutes from a multitude of activities. Take the whole family to a water park or charter a boat and meander about for dolphin sightings. Spend an afternoon parasailing or scuba diving, exploring Destin’s natural and man-made reefs, or take leisurely strolls on the beach.



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, and the splash pad.



During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.

Great Price, Great People, Great Stay!

I loved our stay! The price for a late-June condo ON THE BEACH was awesome! The furniture in our particular condo was slightly dated but that didn’t matter to us a bit. My kids also now think regular beds are awful and bunk beds are the ONLY way to sleep, so now I know they loved those. The only thing I could say is something that is unpreventable and I remember telling my husband that I don’t know how they clean the sand out as much as they could. You guys did amazing and I’m sure we all know sand is impossible to get out. There was also a chair in the dining area that was loose but we placed a throw pillow there so our kids knew not to sit on it.Having a small restaurant in the lobby was fabulous because the night we got there we didn’t want to go anywhere or cook anything. And my husband loved the little shop because he could get ice instead of driving to a gas station or convenience store. The staff was so friendly and made everything so easy. There were several families checking in at the same time as us but they still had smiles on their faces and were so pleasant. Concierge was also so helpful when I needed to know where to rent chairs, where to find little things, etc. and they were so attentive! Thank y’all for an awesome stay!

Great location, very loud construction.

We went a day early and stayed the first night in a hotel, that whole day before and the day of check in we tried messaging our host and never received an answer. We even tried requesting our check in date be moved back a day earlier a week in advance with no answer. I never received check in instructions, after 2 phone calls I reached a front desk who told me to just come there, while I still never received an email, chat back or phone call back about checking in. Also there was an overwhelming about of construction happening our whole stay, back of the building, front of the building and inside the building. We tried drinking coffee on our balcony watching the beach around 8:15 a.m. and couldn’t for the sound of hammer drills below us, above us and beside us. Also it would wake the kids up every morning to the sound of loud hammer drills. The room we stayed in was also not in great shape, very unclean. Also the dishwasher never worked so we had to hand wash all dishes.

Great location if you are on the go!

We would stay again! Maybe next time go down more on the East side for more of a slow pace. Went to Shrimp Basket, Red Door Saloon (Both good food) and Shakes. The only complaint about the condo would be maybe update it a little and a new couch.

Great Beachfront Condo

There weren't a lot of reviews for this property when we booked, but we were more than pleased with the experience. The apartment was great. It was clean and modern--didn't feel outdated at all. The balcony view overlooking the beach was beautiful. While there were some elevator issues at the condo, our overall experience was great and we highly recommend this rental.
