My stay was okay. The refrigerator was molded on the inside, couldn’t figure out how to work the shower, the front desk never answered the phone my entire stay and I had to jump through hoops to find out what the WiFi access code was.

Although the room itself was clean, the carpet had stains and felt sticky. Carpets in the common areas were also old, in disrepair and stained. The doors and walls are paper thin so you can hear what your neighbors are saying. The elevators were clunky and honestly scary. Breakfast was pretty lackluster. No eggs, no apple juice, no yogurt, no fruit. The pool was so overrun with what looked like a very large group of folks who may or may not have even been staying there because the door to the pool room was propped open. It was so full my daughter and I were only in there for about 10 minutes and finally left because kids were splashing us and diving and cannonballing almost on top of us. The staff at the front desk are always out smoking it seems and I had to call a couple times prior to checking in (different days), but I only successfully reached someone once. Very dissatisfying stay.

The amtrak station is nearby. Also close by to the Ford museum campus. I could easily travel by public transport to downtown Detroit as well as shopping areas near by.

Overall inattentiveness to upkeep of amenities to the room. Did not replace used plastic cups and in-room coffee supplies over 3-night stay. Only 1 bath sheet provided for 2 people, had to ask for additional larger towels. The over-sink light bulb was burned out on arrival, reported and was replaced the next day. The hotel is located close to attractions and restaurants.

Great location. Clean. Good price. There were lots of little things. Periods where nobody answer phone because she’s on her cell. Staff sitting out front smoking. I thought they were homeless. Dirty windows and elevator. Lame breakfast. Rooms too dark. Loose screws and broken mirror. Fitness room broken and outdated. Need a new front door. The current one is beat up.

the room was OK, nothing outstanding. The pool was horrible, you couldn't see the bottom, the echo, noise horrible. getting towels was Ok from the front desk. I would not stay their GAIN. I know the time I was there the hallway was not sweep.

I liked how close it was to the airport , I didn’t like that they barely had breakfast only sausage and eggs everyday I don’t even like sausage , I don’t like how the fridge is never stocked so I never was able to buy a drink, I don’t like not having towels and trying to get towels fro front desk and they didn’t have any , staff isn’t very friendly and I don’t think I’ll be staying at this or any of the hotels in the future
