I called the hotel directly and asked if we park on-site and if parking was free. I was told the parking was free for my 8 day stay away and I was assured it was. When I arrived not only did we not park on-site but the hotel charged me $100 and the parking place charged me another $28. I call it a scam. We parked the car and a shuttle picked us up but didn’t take us to the hotel they dropped us off at the back of the pay booth. It was a break room for Quik Park staff! Then a woman came and got us when a shuttle from our hotel arrived!! They were hiding us. I didn’t feel safe and it was weird.

Weekend airshow trip.

My father and i have stayed here once a year for the last 15 years. Now we bring my 2 sons with us as well. We all love the hotel so much thats why we always come back. The hotel is in a perfect location for what we are in town for. The food is excellent and all the staff is extremely friendly. We definitely recommend the hotel.

I booked this reservation from previous reviews. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were the exception to any of my concerns, because they were ALL friendly and welcoming! BUT….. I was bit in bed my first night! Had to run downstairs to the front desk showing my bite marks and a picture of the bug that bit me in my bed! The young lady was very understanding and immediately tried to move my room , apologizing numerous times, all while trying to reach upper management to gain access to switch rooms. No one ever answered, her emergency calls. But she managed to move me. I was home for a funeral and I really didn’t have the energy to debate. The second room’s air conditioner was so loud I had to turn the tv volume up to 30 to hear the tv. All while it kept blowing out black dust clumps, from dirty filters. Also, the ice machine was out on my original floor 4 and eventually out on my second room’s floor 6th. If I could take the staff and place them in a more modern hotel, it would be a Winner!! Still waiting for management to call regarding my bed bug bite experience! Just like the young lady trying to reach them in the early morning hours and was unsuccessful. Or like when I was checking out and another young lady was attempting to reach management for another person and she kept apologizing because she can’t get of hold to them. Great staff! Poor management! Old building, ice makers, carpeting and drapes!

I’ve stayed at this Hilton several times and it’s always a reliable choice. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable with nice pillows, and the deposit isn’t outrageous. I usually book the 2 queen beds. One time I had a smelly fridge, but the staff quickly moved me to another room. Front desk staff are always friendly, and they offer complimentary bottled water. Check-out is at 12:00 p.m., and early check-in is sometimes available. There’s a free shuttle to and from the airport, and a few places to eat are within walking distance. Breakfast could be better—scrambled eggs, square potatoes, pork sausage and bacon are standard. Occasionally they’ll have turkey sausage. The restaurant closes after breakfast and reopens at 3:00 p.m. Overall, clean, comfortable, and convenient. I’ll keep coming back.

This was an amazing 1 night stay. The staff let us check-in early (10am) as our flight schedule was changed. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Detroit.

Property is well maintained. The rooms are very modern and immaculate. The beds were comfortable. Staff was professional and helpful. Only negative was the on-site restaurant. The food was fine but service not so good. That said, there was only one waitress on staff and she was slammed with customers. This hotel is a great value for the price. Stay here if you want a nice hotel only minutes from the airport.
