Happy Tails Devonport
Summary
This beautiful home is comfy and modern, with two bathrooms a modern kitchen a HUGE tv, what more could you want!
Being so close to the ferry terminal makes for convenient travel. We also welcome your pooch!
Space
As soon as you make your way through the front door, you will find luxury. The living space has comfortable couches to relax in and the dining space flows into the kitchen which is very well appointed with an induction cooktop and a dishwasher. The large island bench makes for great entertaining while you cook up a storm. You can access the patio from the dining room through a sliding door.
The main bedroom is located just behind the kitchen through the hall and has an amazing ensuite with walk in shower and a beautiful bath, double vanity and plenty of space in the walk through wardrobe.
The second bedroom is located on the other side of the living room to your right when walking in you first find the bathroom with shower on your left and the bedroom straight ahead. Around the corner is where you have indoor access to the garage and in it you will find the laundry. A door at the back takes you around the back of the house all the way to the patio in the front.
Here you will find a lovely grassy area which will be great for kids and/or pets to run around in. This part of the outdoor space is fenced all the way which makes it very safe for the kids or pets to play in and it includes a nice seating area to enjoy lovely sunny days.
Guest Access

The Neighborhood
The stunning coastal town of Devonport is like the welcoming gateway to the beautiful northwest region of Tasmania. Tucked between rolling hills and the crystal-clear waters of Bass Strait, it's a top spot for explorers. The town's got that warm and inviting feel, and there's a lot to see and do.
You can't miss the breathtaking coastline with its jaw-dropping ocean views. Take a leisurely stroll, have a picnic, or dive into some water-based fun at iconic spots like Coles Beach and the picturesque Bluff Beach. Don't forget to snap a pic with the eye-catching Mersey Bluff Lighthouse – it's a real local favourite. Check out the iconic ‘Spirit of the Sea Statue’ while on your journey.
Devonport's got a deep maritime history, and its port is a big deal for Tassie's trade and commerce. If you're into all things maritime, the Bass Strait Maritime Centre is a must-visit. You'll find a treasure trove of maritime goodies, from old artefacts to interactive exhibits.
The town's got some serious culture going on, too. The Devonport Paranaple Arts Centre is where it's at for performances, exhibitions, and cool cultural stuff. Oh, and make sure to check out the showgrounds, where they host farmers' markets every month.
Need a bit of retail therapy or some healthcare backup? Devonport's got you covered with shopping centres and healthcare facilities. And if you're a foodie, you're in for a treat. The local restaurants and eateries dish up some seriously fresh Tassie produce.
One of the coolest things about Devonport is how close it is to some of Tassie's best spots. You can easily hop over to Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, explore the Tarkine wilderness, or visit neighbouring towns like Burnie, Penguin, Port Sorell, and Latrobe. And if you're all about the great outdoors, you're in luck – there are heaps of adventures waiting for you. So, whether you're here to chill or for a nature-packed getaway, Devonport's got it all.
Getting Around
To get the most out of your stay and to be able to explore all that Devonport and its surrounds have to offer, a car is recommended. Additionally, there are many alternative options listed below:
BUS SERVICE: Tasmania has you covered with a variety of intercity bus services to make your city-to-city travels a breeze. If you're in the North West region, which includes Burnie, Wynyard, Devonport, and more take a peek at the 'MerseyLink' bus service website for their timetables. If you're heading to or from Launceston and the southern spots like Hobart, make sure to swing by the 'Kinetic' website. Please note that 'Kinetic' has you covered for some routes to and from Devonport as well.
UBER: Uber is a popular form of transport used by many locals and tourists. To use, simply download the ‘Uber’ app on your phone and book a ride to your destination.
TAXI: Local taxi service can be found on the internet.
Notes
Please adhere to the regulations in dog exercise areas and clean up after your dog.
A $50 fee will be charged if guests fail to check out by agreed check out time.
