Charming house w/ private sea access & jacuzzi
A wonderful house in a magical place: whether you come here to relax or work remotely or both, you might not want to leave again. This villa is literally located on the sea, with a stone wall and a gate that separates it from the rocks and several accesses that lead down to the sea (not recommended for small children and elderly people or people with mobility difficulties). And thanks to its heated outdoor jacuzzi, this place is perfect even in winter!
This is the closest house to the sea on this stretch of coast, a few hundred meters from the famous Cala dell'Acquaviva, perhaps the most stunning bay in Salento, a natural fjord of enchanting beauty.
The house consists of three bedrooms, one double, one triple (double bed single bunk bed above it) and one single room. There is a bathroom with shower and a toilet with washing machine (there is also an external shower), and a living room with an open kitchen, simple but equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals (gas stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, kettle, dishes, pots, etc.). You can eat your meals outdoors, under the large shaded canopy in front of the house, near the brick barbecue. On the roof there is another terrace, also partly shaded, with an even more beautiful sea view.
Another highlight of the property is the outdoor whirlpool, located in a covered veranda with sea view right next to the house: enjoy a relaxing water massage at your preferred water temperature (up to 40 °C), while listening to good music, reading a book or just enjoying the company while looking at the sea below you.
We open the whirlpool upon request only; the price is âŹ120 for the setup âŹ15 per day, and it includes water costs, cleaning/disinfection as well as regular maintenance.
From the property, which is completely fenced, a small gate offers direct access to the sea: to the right, there are some sea accesses that can be used to enter the water (shoes recommended for the rocks), while to the left, after a few meters, an easy, paved path runs along the sea for several hundred meters in the direction of Acquaviva, an ideal setting for walks at sunset.
The property has a private parking space for one car, covered with a roof, along the coastal road; other cars can be parked for free along the road. Please note that it is not possible to arrive directly to the house by car: to access the property from the parking lot, you need to follow a pedestrian path, about 80 meters long and with approx. 100 (easy) steps, which must be walked uphill to get back to the car. But this house is definitely worth the effort
Sheets, duvets and towels are not included. If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for âŹ26 per person.
Final cleaning is not included and costs âŹ120, unless you clean yourselves before departure.
Dogs and pets are welcome, if you inform us in advance! Surcharge: âŹ150 for the 1st one, âŹ75 each for the others. Usually max 1 large or 2 small ones are allowed, but exceptions might be possible upon request.
We will ask you to pay a security deposit of âŹ600 before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, if there is no damage.
Electricity costs (and thus where applicable AC, hot water, heating etc.) are NOT included in the price and will be charged based on your actual consumption. The price per kWh charged to guests was âŹ0,42 on 06/02/2026, when this text was last updated. Prices may slightly change over time.
Feel free to reach out and we will be happy to share the average electricity consumption data for the season you're interested in.

Tolles Haus.
The house was in a lovely location but was very tired. Worn paint in the kitchen and a broken glass cook top. It is very small, no living area and only one air conditioning unit in the hallway to service the whole house. This means you have to sleep with all bedroom doors wide open in order to keep cool at night. We had a problem where the very bright outdoor lights were on an auto timer until at least 3am every night and without shutters or adequate curtains made it very difficult to sleep in brightly lit up bedrooms. I asked daily for this to be addressed and it sadly was not, despite being told every day it was.The biggest disappointment to me was arriving and having to make all of the beds up myself. We were left only sheets, no blankets and one pillow each. Having paid extra for the use of sheets and extra for cleaning I would have expected to at least have the beds made up on arrival. The outdoor area had not been cleaned and they donât provide any cleaning supplies, even to clean the kitchen bench so I had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean myself.Overall the house, anmenities and complication of all the forms, extra charges (you pay extra for electricity too) were extremely disappointing. Iâve given it an ok rating because the location is very lovely and it was great being so close to the sea.It felt pretty unloved and not at all like the lovely styled images on the website
A cozy little cottage with tiny, almost windowless bedrooms, but otherwise everything was fantastic. The outdoor patios and upper deck views are amazing and the place is so peaceful. We used the outdoor kitchen's wood burning open oven to grill steaks. Fantastic. The road is perfect for cycling all the way to the tip of Puglia. Or driving. Close to Castro and Marritima for shopping. Close enough for day trips to Lecce and Otranto.
There are 101 steps down and back up to your car, so not for the physically challenged or very young children I would say!
Everything functioned well, except for the above stove light!
Thank you for this little gem.
