Broderick By The Bay

It's been a long year and you've worked hard! Now it's your turn to escape to this private, double waterfront location in Winter Bay. It's far enough away from city, yet close enough to enjoy the day trips. Enjoy an early morning dip in the pool. The pool temperature is kept at 80 degrees, so it is always inviting to you!

This quality built home has everything you will need to enjoy your vacation. The very bright, gourmet equipped kitchen and island with 5 stools in front of the dining room, will allow you to kick back and relax.

FACILITIES
Large sundecks on both upper and lower levels give a wonderful view of the Bay!
A privacy fence and decking around the pool are perfect for sunbathing.
Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room, Family Room, 4 Bedrooms, 3 piece Bath, 4 piece Bath.
Highspeed internet, telephone, TV, satellite dish, stereo, VCR, clothes washer & dryer give you all the amenities of home.
The fully modernized kitchen is appointed with a refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder and toaster.
Cutlery, dishes and linens / bedding are provided.

The four luxury bedrooms + sofa bed in the Family Room, comfortably sleep 10+.

Bookings are accepted for Saturday - Saturday stays only.
World class golf courses, Cavendish National Park, Anne's Land, dining, fresh seafood, deep sea fishing, pottery and craft shops, art galleries, sea kayaking and biking are only a few of the local activities close to you.
This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted.

Another wonderful stay at this gorgeous property! Plenty of room for six adults and three kids. We used the pool daily and enjoyed dinners in the covered porch. The view of the bay and the iconic sunsets were loved by all. A short drive away from beautiful beaches and yummy seafood and ice cream. I highly recommend this property to large groups looking for a relaxing vacation!

My family and I had a good stay. The downfall was the mosquitoes. They were everywhere thank goodness for the screened in porch. The pool could have been cleaner although it was a great addition. The kitchen had all of the amenities required and the bbq was perfect.

Cozy cottage with nice view

Nice clean cottage and property with nice beach and view. Close to attractions in Cavendish, Charlottetown, national parks and deep sea fishing (North Rustico etc.) The location allows reaching most of the island with a reasonable drive for day trips.

Lovely Cottage

We loved our stay at the Brodericks' cottage. The space was perfect for our family of four plus two grandparents and dog, with a great pool and ample comfortable, breezy space. The location is gorgeous, with unbelievable sunsets, lots of herons, eagles, opsreys, kingfishers and other other birds looking for fish. The hosts were excellent. We'll be back.

An Outstanding Issue BEWARE

After many stays booked through VRBO over many years this experience has turned sour. We were charged more than twice the rate for PEI Goods and Services Tax than is set by the government. Errors happen, we understand that and feel that we have been reasonable in our dealings with both the owner of the property and VRBO. We expected that the error would be corrected. When we realized the error we contacted both VRBO and Alexis. Alexis assured us that the overpayment would be reimbursed by VRBO on the completion of our stay. We completed our stay 26 days ago and we have received no repayment despite many communications between ourselves and VRBO. Our stay at the house was lovely and we have no complaints whatsoever in regards to the accommodation, only to the billing and the failure of VRBO to correct the mistake. I would be happy to amend this review when this matter is cleared up but for now we are most disappointed in VRBO and would not recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful place to stay

The cottage had plenty of space for 7 which were made up of three generations. The pool was a big hit for everyone and was used everyday. We ate all our meals and spent evenings in the gazebo. The cottage was close to a great seafood take out Fin Folk and ice cream place and a beach you can walk on for miles. The whole family enjoyed our week and made a lot of memories.

Amazing Retreat

We visited the property in Corran Ban for two full weeks. It was like a oasis for all who enjoyed our stay. We had 7 visitors in total and there was room for everyone and then some. Close to beaches and Charlottetown made our stay even more rewarding. Nothing was really any more than 30 minutes away in any direction. Far enough to enjoy the privacy of this wonderful home, pool and grounds, but close enough for other adventures. Our hosts were very accommodating and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. The pool was a game changer and early and late evening swims were something we all enjoyed! Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for an awesome oasis on a beautiful island!

Lovely week by the sea

We were very happy to find this lovely house. It's out of the way property, yet close enough to all activities. Amenities were plentiful and the screened in porch a real bonus for our family dinners. Bedrooms are very comfy and well appointed. (an ensuite for the Master would be Devine though!) Note to future rentors: plenty of local vendors sell campfire wood on roadside for the lovely firepit; bring soap or body wash with you, as none was provided; do take a drive to Bloomingpoint and Tracadie Bay beaches(down Harbour road). Both are gorgeous and so close by...kayaking is available at Tracadie Beach, where you can cross the bay to magnifient beaches and dunes.Bonus...Its about 7 minutes away! A wonderful week was had by all. Many thanks!

Off the main roads.

We were able to find the place thanks to modern technology! It was a perfect spot. Quiet, gorgeous view of the bay, and a pool to cool off in. Lovely maintained grounds with flowers everywhere. We were able to eat nightly in the screened in Gazebo. There was no lack of necessities. Edie and John have supplied all that is needed plus more. Large place, lots of room to sit indoors a outdoors. Our little Shih Poo loved running around in the grass on the property. If you want a quiet retreat this is the place. Thank you for a memorable holiday. The Plantes

Great for family

This is a wonderful place for a family. The pool was fantastic and there are plenty of choices to sit in either the sun or the shade. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of closet space (so often missing in a cottage). The location is very private and quiet yet Tracadie beach, which is perfect for young children, is only a short drive away. I would definitely recommend it.

Fell in love with Broderick by the Bat

This vacation was everything we wanted it to be. The house was perfect. The bedroom on the first floor was ideal for the member of the family that could not do stairs. The den was perfect for the teenager that wanted to play video games. The pool and screened in porch made it possible to enjoy the beautiful weather we had. The owners were gracious and quick to take care of any little issues that might happen which were a few. The family agreed it was one of our best vacations in prince Edward Island was worth the travel .

We didn't want to leave!

We had such an amazing time! The cottage was clean and comfy and definitely big enough for our family; The kids - including the grown up ones lol - thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool. But my favorite part? Sitting on the back porch every morning while listening to the birds and looking at the water. If we ever make it back to the Island, this is THE place I'd want to be!

Absolutely incredible cottage. Hope to be back soon.

We had an incredible week stay at Broderick by the Bay. The cottage has everything you could ever need. Great bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen and lots of great living and rest areas. The decks are great for enjoying the wildlife and incredible view of the bay. And the pool is a game changer, especially with the kids. Perfect location - very close to the beach and to town. We could not have been happier. Hope to be back soon.

A great two weeks at Broderick’s by the Bay!

We had lots of fun swimming in the pool, walking on the shore, and playing basketball and soccer outside. We also had fun going to the nearby beaches. John and Edie were great hosts and the cottage was very clean.
