This is a convenient hotel for Dougas. It is about a 15 min walk to the centre. The rooms were clean and confortable. Staff were friendly. There was no included breakfast, but there are restaurants and shops nearby.

Nice location, short walk to the seafront . the road outside the apartment has parking restrictions from 8am-6pm. but this did not cause us any problems. Tesco is nearby for all the essentials and most bars and resturants about 10 min away.

We enjoyed our visit to Arandale. It was well worth the steep walk up Broadway from the promenade. I loved the Manx kippers and poached egg at breakfast, a must for visitors to the Isle of Man.

I choose Arrandale House as a base from which to explore the Isle of Man ... using the Manx Electric Railway and the steam railway. Just a few things to be aware of: First, Arrandale House is located ... somewhat steep hill,. I walked from the ferry terminal, but some travelers may ... As expected in a property of this age, there is no elevator (lift). The staircase up to my room on the 2nd floor (=UK 1st floor) was somewhat narrow and steep, and shall I say, tricky to navigate with luggage, both going up and down. The owner kindly helped ... when I arrived, but ... early morning departure ...

Just what I needed when staying in Douglas

I had a great visit to the Isle of Man. The weather was glorious. My apartment at the Arrandale was just what I needed during my visit. Scott was brilliant at keeping me informed about my booking and check in arrangements. This was greatly appreciated. My apartment kitchen area was well equipped for what I needed during my stay. I would book again at the Arrandale when visiting the Isle of Man in future.
