Rented it for 3 nights,only stayed 2 nights need a refund on third night due to cockroaches on the bed called office refused to move us due to being sold out even though hotel seemed to be half full they said 20 rooms out of order due to maintenance or storage??? $120 a night is a joke

I have been visting this area for over 20 years. Motel 6 is the best option for the rate. We were Friday-Sunday. 1st room we checked into had hair all over the sink from someone who had just shaved. I tried to call the front desk but there was no cord on the phone to the jack. We got checked into a 2nd room, the bathroom floor was soaking wet because the cieling was leaking and burnt out the light. Again, I couldn't call the front desk because the phone didn't have a dial tone. We got changed to room a few doors down that had stained bedding. This place is very old and needs some serious upgrades!! Pay extra to stay at the Gadsden!!! Never again. The pool is not heated!!

First of all that was my mistake the pictures looked decent. But it’s not the employees fault they can only do what they can what they can work with. I was charged twice when I switched the reservation yet I stayed with the same information and my card got charged twice. The run around between customer service and the motel is horrible keep the extra $80!! Use it wisely I will never stay in your line of motels again!
