Enjoy your summer vacation get-a-way on beautiful Lake Manchaug in this lakefront home in peace and quiet enjoyment. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with a wrap-around deck and attached screen house complete with 2 car garage. Home has been upgraded and updated with hardwood floors, indoor laundry, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, two ovens and countertop range. Plus, all the necessary items to prepare your meals. Indoor laundry has washer and dryer. Hairdryer in master bath. Electric fireplace in living room. Cable TV and Wi-Fi wireless internet available for your entertainment in living room and master bedroom. 55 " Wide screen plasma in living room. The gas grill is located just outside the kitchen door on the wrap-around deck. there is a fire pit in the front yard overlooking the lake for those relaxing and story-telling evenings.

For your side trips, why not a day in Boston sightseeing and taking in the culture; just 45 minutes away. Or, even closer, why not head over to Cape Cod for an amazing lobster dinner? Or cook your own lobster from the market basket 10 minutes away . Like sightseeing? Even closer is Newport, Rhode Island with the tour of mansions and scenic views and breezes of the Atlantic Ocean.

Hungry? There’s a major supermarket and other shopping just 15 minutes away, the Market Basket.

"Xanadu on the Lake"

What a wonderful property! The lake is great for swimming and fishing. and Katrina provides lots of toys and of course life jackets. The house was so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the hot water, comfortable sofas, sky lights, deck off of the main bedroom, row boat, two docks, sandy access into water, outside seating, the list goes on and on. Katrina's daughter Linda was the best host! So sweet, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely be returning to this heaven on the lake.

Stunning is right!

My family had a wonderful week here! The pictures don’t do it justice. The waterfront property is private, expensive and stunning! Our days were spent fishing, swimming, and kayaking, and we enjoyed campfires at night. It’s the kind of place you want to share with others. We plan to return!

So Peaceful and Pleasant!

Outdoor spaces and property are spectacular. The "pond" is more like a lake to us New Jersey residents. The house itself has large windows that take full advantage of the views. Nice bathroom, huge soaking tub and walk-in shower. Kitchen is well-equipped. Host's daughter lives nearby and very gracious. Our dog was a welcomed guest. Only caveat is that the road in (only about 1/4 mile) is quite rough, especially in a sedan!

I love that there are kayaks and canoes to use so we don’t have to transport our own. The yard is HUGE! It’s an amazing oasis! Gorgeous Lake House with Breathtaking Views!

Our family loved our stay in this absolutely gorgeous lake house. The house was beautifully decorated, picture perfect and extremely clean. Our host was so lovely I spoke with her prior and during our stay and she was so kind and accommodating. If we had any questions she would immediately reply. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We swam in the clean water with a nice sandy entrance no rocks or weeds! We enjoyed using the kayaks and canoes provided for us. My grandkids fished and caught one fish after another! They had so much fun. Five Star is not a high enough rating for this magnificent Lake Rental.
