Maison Privee - Address at JBR - 3 bedroom apt
This review is solely for this property- Maison Privee Address at JBR - 3 bedroom apartment.
The apartment should not have been listed as a 5 star and should be more in line of a 3 star. The location on JBR is ok, but it is at the very end and traffic is horrible. The apartment is filthy. Floors are dirty, walls are full of scratches and visible signs of dirt, showers are full of mold, living room patio was not accessible because the door was not opening (several contractors came and checked and could not operate it open), the restroom / room by the kitchen (maid’s room) smelled of urine, stains on couches, dining room chairs, floors, I really could go on. This needs a thorough deep clean.
It was so bad we had to call the host to come clean, but even after he “spot” cleaned, the mold would not go away in the showers, and I had to tell him to remove the hair clumps from the showers.
Do read this before you book.
After contacting Hotels.com of my dissatisfaction, the host, Maison Privee, reached out and provided us a different location 5 minutes away in JBR. Their communication was excellent and professional. That sets them apart and they did the right thing by providing us with a clean apartment.
