Very good. Not much of a beach.
Can't go wrong with Sheraton. A nice modern hotel. View in late 2016 was dominated by construction of the Eye and other building sites. Nice hotel though.

Cons:no free wi-fi
The concierge organized my pickup and delivery from the airport via email and added it to my hotel bill so there was no worry about converting money to pay immediately. They also organized two day trips that were great. Staff were warm and friendly. Hotel room was great. More than enough cabanas and chairs on the beach - no need to run down at first light to snag one. One note: room service and the mini bar were cheaper than dining/drinking in the restaurant; check your prices and make your decision. Breakfast was not included in my stay although it is possible to pre-pay. An omelet and toast ended up costing almost twenty US dollars - ask before you sit.

Pleanty of Restaurants on the WALK all adjacent to the hotel.
No mosque call to pray sirens to be heard, beautiful views(hotel clerk upgraded us at no charge because I was a starwoord member) ,tropical paradise in the middle of this city of over one million people. This is how I would describe this hotel. I had a massage in an outdoor cabana which was most relaxing and I collected seashells every day as I walked the sand beach and would watch beautiful sunsets.The swim up bar where they will prepare any drink of your choice is nice as is it can be as is the free internet cafe in the bakery. This hotel has it all including good shops for souveniers, jewlery and clothing,a concierge floor and contracts with cabs that all are Lexus's that will transport you anywhere for a reasonable price and put it on your room. It was close enough to some city sights that I could walk to alone as my friend was elderly and couldn't walk.We were pampered pink and glad to be American as the hotel employs staff from Kenya and they are so proud of our President. Can't wait to return and the primary reason would be to visit this hotel again as it one of the nicest most relaxing hotels I've stayed at in all my travels. WE wanted to see belly dancers and they recommended the Lebenase restaurant in Atlantis which was a highlight of the trip as was high tea at the Burj El Arab.
