The staff are amazing. Very welcoming, friendly, helpful and made my stay extra special. Oscar, behind the Line-out bar deserves a special mention……he is efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area….well done Sir. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Just a suggestion……have some newspapers available….would be a nice touch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone…..I will definitely be back.

The Sandymount Hotel

Went to watch a game at the Aviva and after a lot of research chose The Sandymount based on reviews and its location. Can safely say we were so glad we did. Easy to get to from the airport and only a stone’s throw from the stadium. From the moment we approached the hotel we just knew we made the right choice. Outside was very clean and that theme continued into the hotel. Everything was immaculate and the welcome very warm. All staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The room itself was spacious, spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfast was epic! After the game we walked around the area and there are loads of good places to eat and drink. We like the Ballsbridge/Sandymount area of Dublin as it’s a bit out of town (20 min walk) but still plenty of places to eat and drink. The Dart is only a 2 min walk from The Sandymount Hotel so makes getting in and out of the town centre even easier! This was our 6th visit to Dublin and our 1st stay at The Sandymount but certainly won’t be our last. We can’t wait to go back to stay. Would highly recommend to all.

One night in Dublin

An excellent location, especially when heading to Lansdowne Road / Aviva Stadium, or the RDS, but also a relatively short walk to the city, or right beside the local rail station. The hotel is in great condition, clean, well maintained and with helpful staff. I didn't try the buffet breakfast as the price seemed a little steep for it.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the communal areas were modern, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained, but felt like a budget hotel. The location wasn't ideal after we'd stayed earlier in the city center - very limited dining and pub options; you need to drive/cab to places that have more options. The room was standard (though small-ish for 3 adults); the presence of 3 beds (2 single, 1 double) in a room that size, made it cramped. The bathroom was very tiny and cramped. The parking area was spacious and well-placed. The breakfast was pretty good, quantity and quality, with very good service.

Fantastic hotel in Dublin!

Stay was excellent. Staff were fantastic, hotel and facilities were excellent too. Location was perfect for exploring, close to station and walkable to Dublin centre if you want to.
