The Davenport exceeded my expectations!!! The staff , very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. They made our stay a very pleasant experience. The hotel was within walking distance of shops and various restaurants. The room and bathroom were very chic and beautiful. Exactly what was advertised on the website.

The Davenport is a lovely hotel in the center of Dublin City. Lots of great restaurants and parks close by for families and also very close to all tourist attractions. The only one point deducted is that the cleaning staff didn’t clean the rooms very often

We had an amazing stay at The Davenport!! The staff were so friendly and helpful! The adapters we purchased for the outlets did not work for my husbands CPAP and one of the front desk associates came up personally with an appropriate adapter and saved the day!! They were also very helpful with providing insight on the area and pointing us in the right direction to wherever we were going. Be aware booking is non-refundable. We decided to take roadtrip down south mid-vacation and could not cancel those nights already paid. It was not a big fuss because we already knew this but for those of you that don’t read the fine print….. When we returned from our roadtrip our room was cleaned and ready for us with the AC on! Top notch stay! We will definitely stay here again!

What a treat! After a long, somewhat stressful trip across “the pond” it was so nice to be welcomed into comfort and kindness. I only stayed one night, since I was on my way to other places, but you have a lovely hotel in a great location, walking distance to everything I would need. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

We would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay.

Very good hotel. Real good staff and service. Francisco at the front desk was helpful. Only thing is rooms are small but I guess, that is how it is in Europe. Enjoyed our stay!! Will stay here again if we come to Dublin again.
