Sehr schöne Wohnung mit toller Aussicht auf den Hafen

Die Wohnung ist einfach zu finden und besitzt einen privaten Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Sie ist hervorragend an den öffentlichen Verkehr angebunden (die Haltestelle der Buslinie 6 ins Zentrum alle 10 Minuten ist ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt) und ein relativ großer Einkaufsladen befindet sich an der Kreuzung gegenĂŒber der Wohnung in 1 Minute Entfernung. Die Wohnung selber ist sehr groß und besitzt einen Balkon mit toller Aussicht auf den Hafen von Dubrovnik, von dem aus man die riesigen Kreuzfahrtschiffe anlegen und ablegen sehen kann. Ein kurzer Weg (etwa 4-5 Minuten) fĂŒhrt zum Hafen und einer Badestelle mit Leiter. Die Vermieterin ist Ă€ußert nett, zuvorkommend und sehr hilfsbereit. Ob es hier auch etwas negatives zu berichten gibt? Wenn ĂŒberhaupt dann nur, dass man bei ungĂŒnstigen WindverhĂ€ltnissen die Abgase mancher Ozeanriesen riecht und in der ganzen Wohnung den Gestank von unverbranntem Schweröl hat. Das kommt aber selten vor und beeintrĂ€chtigt die WohnqualitĂ€t maximal wĂ€hrend der Tagesstunden, da die Schiffe in der Regel morgens anlegen und abends wieder wegfahren. Alles in allem ĂŒberwiegen die positiven Dinge stark diesen einen negativen Aspekt. Falls wir jemals wieder nach Dubrovnik kommen, werden wir versuchen nochmals diese Wohnung zu bekommen. Vielen Dank an die herrliche Zeit in eurer Wohnung, liebe Petra.

So good we will come back

This was our very first visit to Croatia and Dubrovnik and we had no idea what we would find. It was recommended by our son who only saw it as a cruise ship passenger. From the very start we were highly impressed with everyone we met and especially the welcome they gave us and the fact that so many spoke good English. My wife chose the apartment and we spent a lot of time researching the area before we went. We had two concerns. Firstly where was the nearest shop and secondly where were the restaurants. The first one was quickly solved when we saw what turned out to be an amazing small supermarket only 40 yards away. We met Petra ( daughter of the family) when we arrived and she showed us round the apartment and spent some time explaining not only the apartment but also key things like restaurants and the amazing bus service. The apartment met all our needs. It was clean, well furnished and with an amazing balcony. You had a great view of the of the port and the constant but virtually silent ( from our position) comings and goings. As first time visitors we had many questions and Petra answered them all. The key point is that we would return and would definitely stay again at this apartment. As to restaurants Petra suggested two. The first in the nearby Orsan yacht club was our favourite and we went three times. Local beaches are an easy walk and the main resort centre with its many restaurants not too far.

Excellent location

We had the pleasure of staying at apartment Bava and our host, Petra, was great! The apartment had everything we needed, including a market across the street. Neighborhood was safe and friendly and the view from the balcony was beautiful! Walking distance to great restaurants and beaches as well. Loved our stay!
