The Hotel and rooms are run down and uninviting. Peeling wallpaper, chipped paint, dated interior. The walls are paper thin so we were kept awake by our neighbor coughing, urinating and snoring throughout the entire night. Then at 8am sharp, construction began above our ceiling. Hammering, sanding and sawing. This was the last straw in a hellish stay. We won't be back or recommending anyone to stay here.

We didnt like the very tight car parking. And the slippery slope drive way going down to the city. Theres water running down it. And its constantly wet. Very dangerous when frosty. But loved the stay in the complex. And will come back.

Very noisy, with people able to walk through the carparks, yelling, screaming,swearing late at night early morning, very close to Ambulance service with sirens.Would definitely look for somewhere more peaceful. No restaurant onsite for evening dining, there is a very limited in house menu with very few choices.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and a warn, clean room. Breakfast was included and it had excellent options, including a separate toaster for gluten-free needs. Thr hotel is close to the centre and was in a quiet area. The building is quite tired as a lot of nz hotels seem to be.

When checking in I was told all the on site parking was full, the listing on here doesn’t say anything about parking being limited so my options were to park on the side of the road and hope the car didn’t get broken in to while lugging my luggage up a steep hill. The room I booked and paid for was meant to have 2 teen beds the room I was given was directly behind the lifts with one bed in-it felt like being put in the room no one else would want-also you need to consider soundproofing the wall-you could clearly hear phone conversations as well as snoring from other rooms. All in all pretty horrible and I will never come back
