Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath newly furnished East Rim Condo (East Rim A24) provides immediate access to all the resort amenities at a fantastic value. It is located across from Purgatory Lodge in an ideal Ski in/Ski Out location offering ultimate all-season convenience. This condo's location is unbeatable!

The East Rim complex is centrally located to the main skier plaza and is just a short walk to the fastest and biggest high speed lift on the mountain, Purgatory Express. Located just a step away from the hustle and bustle, restaurants, shops, and skiing amenities of the primary base village at Purgatory Resort, it offers the convenience of a central location, with the privacy of a mountain-side retreat. With its unbeatable views and cozy interior, our condo is the perfect escape after an epic day on the mountain. This newly furnished residence will not disappoint!

There are full bathrooms upstairs and downstairs as well as a BBQ gas grill on the deck.

The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. When booking, just advise if you would like us to add the additional 4% resort fee.

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Host was quick to respond with any questions or concerns that we had. There was some technical issues getting in but we were able to get on the phone with someone quickly. The verbiage on the loft bed should be clarified - that you have to walk through the loft to get to the other bedroom. The bathroom door downstairs was jammed, and you had to really twist the door hard to get it open.

Amazing Property!

We loved this property! It was amazing! Cozy and had everything we needed. Beds are very comfortable. Home was very clean! I was able to relax like it was my own home! We can’t wait to come back and visit! We will be staying here again! The one thing I would have liked to know ahead of time that I didn’t is this house also comes with games and an Xbox to play. That would be nice to be included in the listing.

Great Location, lots of steps

Great location, the one bedroom must be accessed by walking through the loft area where the other bed is. Again great location right across from the main purgatory lodge. Really convenient for the whole family. To access the property you had to drop down a flight of stairs then walk back up a flight of stairs to access the front door. The spiral staircase to the loft and bedroom is tight. Awesome location

Need to add the apartment number to the listing not just the address, there are 4 buildings with the same address with about 8 units in each one. Also hot tub was an additional fee to use, so probably should take that filter off the listing. but nice and cozy apartment for ski in/out with all the mountain decor and vibes.

Cozy ski resort condo

I was a little worried about staying in this condo with 4 teenagers and two adults, but it turned out to be perfect! The upstairs has a bedroom, lift bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable beds and very clean. Main floor has two pull out beds with blankets (missing fitted sheets though). The kitchen had full sized and fully functional appliances, and also a propane grill on the balcony. Main floor also has a bathroom with shower. There are two x box consoles at the condo which were a hit with our teenagers. It’s also across the street from the pool, hot tub, and fitness center (extra fee, but worth it!). Beautiful view and cozy stay. We would recommend staying here.

Purgatory Ski Vacation

This property is in a fantastic location. Close to everything Purgatory has to offer. Walking distance - we never drove our car. It was a quiet place and the views did not disappoint. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed everything about the property except on our last two nights the thermostat quit working. It got up to 80 degrees. We called for maintenance and they came to work on it but were unable to resolve the thermostat error code while we were there. Other than the issue with the heating control we enjoyed our stay.

Great location

This unit is perfectly located for a family to get to the slopes! Kitchen is well stocked. We had 2 adults and 2 kids with plenty of space. The Internet never worked the five days/nights we were there and we weren’t getting good cell service either. We had to call the Internet company ourselves twice to get updates, but there was never resolution It didn’t sound unusual for multi day outages to occur. That made checking in on work difficult, streaming music, etc. So prepare accordingly.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, my family & I had a great stay in Durango over the Christmas holiday. We liked the condo’s location to the main lodge, slopes & shops. There were some issues with the cleanliness of the condo however. Every dish we tried to use was dirty, either food residue or lipstick marks. The dishwasher also had food partícals inside so we washed everything by hand. Same for the cooking pans & blender. The downstairs tub has a drainage issue, water would start to rise like a bath mid shower. In the living room near the fireplace, there is an odd stench in the area almost like mildew or mold. We also noticed moss growing along the chimney. This is great spot & just needs a deep cleaning & some upgrading to make us want to stay here again.

Excelente experiencia

Fui con mi familia, (esposa, y dos hijas de 3 y 5 años) en su primera experiencia para esquiar. El departamento estaba muy cerca de lift caminando, contaba con todos los servicios mencionados en la descripción, el wifi era muy lento pero los dueños fueron muy amables y nos cambiaron el módem a uno de 5g. En general lo recomendamos ampliamente y volveríamos sin duda a hospedarnos.
